The Ultimate Jump Showdown |
Did they say 40 titles!? Did they say 300 characters? If Jump is definitely drawing all their characters together in this ultimate Jump showdown, then this is the game to get for all Jump fans! We honestly donÂ’t know where to start counting with the titles, but from the looks of the previews in Famitsu, fans of the comic magazine Shounen Jump should get ready for some great fanfare service.
The game is now formally called as the Jump Ultimate Superstars. It contains the characters already playable during the Jump Superstars, however more lackeys, endless puns, and kickass moves are available in this game. From the popular titles of old like Dragon Ball Z, KochiKame and Rurouni Kenshin, it also features popular titles of today such as Bleach and Eyeshield 21. Obscure series that run in Jump, such as Majin Tantei Neuro, Bo-bobobo, and Busou Renkin will also be shown in the game.
All
series
that are currently running on Jump are featured here, so youÂ’re
definitely not
missing out on some of your favorite characters. Even more classic
games such as Saint Seiya and Captain Tsubasa will be here as well. We
do wonder if archaic Jump titles such as Barefoot Gen will also come
out.
One more thing that makes this an ultimate game is the Wifi
capability of the game. Now you and your friends can cause a riot in this Jump
arena. You can get your favorite characters to battle it out on who really is
the strongest Jump character there is! You can find out who is winning the battle with the
panels at the touch screen of the game. You will see comic panels displaying
the Jump characters at play. Whoever has the largest panel is the leader of the
game.
Along with the comical faces are a set of banters and puns that the character says to his opponents. Sometimes, good combos give the character an opportunity to mutter a really good insult to his enemies. We guess that would mean Himura Kenshin muttering some peaceful samurai mumbo jumbo again. Or it could mean some great pun comedy from Don Pachi.
The game looks great and
just as lively as the first one. With the hope of more characters in
play, it will definitely be a riot.
The puns in the panels all look funny. We canÂ’t wait to hear Ryoma say
“Mada mada
da ne.” In all honesty, this is the ultimate Jump fantasy that every
Shounen
Jump fan has ever dreamed of and we're sure most of you are waiting for
November
to come a whole lot sooner.
