Aside from near impossible hazards to go through, it's difficult not to have a laugh at the enemy monster which takes the flag pole that Italian plumbers love to hang onto before entering the castle in victory. Before you even reach what marks the finish line, beams shoot from nowhere and platforms unexpectedly fall in a deliberate attempt to kill the player.
