Master Chief vs Samus Aran

Why the fight?

They're both genetically altered superhu[wo]man soldiers possessed of powerful suits of battle armor to help bring on the pain.

Vital Statistics:

Master Chief

Height: 7 ft tall (in full battle armor)
Weight: 1000lbs (again in full battle armor)

Training: Master Chief is a product of the SPARTAN II genetic project, an experiment that sought to create the finest supersoldiers known to man, by utilising a blend of state of the art genetic and cybernetic alterations, advanced military training and intensive physical and mental training from a young age.

Misc: Official name and rank is Master Chief Petty Officer Spartan John-117. John was stolen from his parents as a child and replaced by a flash clone, who died shortly thereafter from complications in the cloning process. He was born in 2511 and was described as having brown hair, freckles and a gap between his front teeth. The Master Chief is aided by a sentient Artificial Intelligence program known as Cortana, modeled in physical form after SPARTAN project creator Dr. Catherine Halsey. The Master Chief is one of only four SPARTAN's still alive from an original number of thirty three, the other whereabouts of the other three SPARTAN's is currently unknown. It is interesting to note that dead SPARTAN's are never officially classified as dead, listed instead as being MIA (Missing In Action) in order to preserve moral and put forth the appearance that SPARTAN's cannot die.

Training: It is unclear as exactly what kind of training Samus has undergone, but we do know that she benefited from full military training from the Galactic Federation. Her infusion with Chozo blood as a child, and later Metroid DNA years later, coupled with years of experience as a bounty huntress make her a deadly force to reckon with.

Misc: Samus' power armor can be equipped with a number of modular upgrades that enhance its functionality and lethality, it also powers a built in arm cannon capable of firing an infinite number of energy based blasts. When Samus was three, her Earth Colony, called K2-L was attacked and destroyed by a species known as the Space Pirates, Samus and her pet, ponchi, as the only survivors of the massacre, were adopted by a pair of kind Chozo.

The Outcome

The Master Chief is stronger, but Samus has the advantage when it comes to speed and agility, both are capable of analyzing their environments to their advantage, Master Chief in conjunction with Cortana, and Samus using her suits visor and automated analysis system. Samus also possesses the upper hand when it comes to armaments, her suits built in arm cannon and modular upgradability gives her the ability to adapt quickly to whatever situation she finds herself in, and she never runs out of ammo. That said, while Samus' suit is built for flexibility in exploration and combat, Master Chief's MJOLNIR Mark VI power armor is made to power through just about anything you can throw at it, and with the experienced mind of the Master Chief aided by Cortana driving it, Samus can only last so long before being smashed to dust.

Samus is a character close to many hearts, she's been around a heck of a lot longer than the Chief, but she's unfortunately not nearly as fleshed out as a character, which definitely contributed to her defeat in this battle (at least in my mind).

It's a little difficult to judge how Samus would deal with the situation when we've barely come to know her through her videogames. The Chief, while in many ways just as mysterious, is altogether a more rounded character with a defined personality, and more fleshed out past.

Again we certainly hope you've enjoyed reading the third part in this ongoing series of videogame versus battles, the first two parts of which you can read here (Snake vs Sam Fisher) and here (Ryu vs Liu Kang).

The whole thing's building to a massive finale which will see every character that has taken part going at it in a gigantic free-for-all from which only one will emerge victorious. As always we look forward to reading your comments and suggestions (as you can see a couple of previously suggested match ups have already made the list).

P.S. Riddick (from The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay) has been taken off the list as I figured a better match for Kratos would be Dante, leaving Riddick without a competitor, I'm taking suggestions on who he should face up against!

you forgot to mention in the article that samus has at least 10x the amount of hp in her suit than the master chief.

if you've ever played a metroid game(which i'm sure all of us have), when you reach the end of the game samus is so rigged up it isnt even funny. She has over 1200 hp in her suit and she has all these power-ups(super missle, beam/missle combination, usually 4 different beams, power bomb, space jump, etc, etc..)

The master chief has what? a rocket launcher, sword, shield, hardly any health when shield breaks, some smgs, neeedler, etc, etc..

when it comes down to it, the master chief doesnt have the weapons that samus has and his suit cant take as many hits as hers can and we all know that samus is way more mobile than the master chief.

He's got over 800 pounds on her, that ***** little ice gun is not gonna stop chief if he can run through fire, survive the frigid cold, and fall from heights of over 20-50 feet and be fine.

Plus, MC has a counterpart to almost every one of her attacks. Morphball? Come on he's got 800 pounds on her, her running into him isn't going to damage him that much. Lava gun? Meet the Hunter's Rifle. Missles? Rocket Launcher. Her ship? what the hell is that? MC could jump into banshees, ghosts, tanks, etc, although I thought it was a 1 on 1 battle, not calling in ships and bull***** like that.

The only counterpart he doesn't have is the ice beam, but:

1. Freezing him isn't going to really work, if you read the halo novels he's been through much tougher *****.

2. He has a ton of other guns that could be that, from the brute rifle, sniper rifle, plasma grenades, needlers, etc.

I think this is right, chief owns that hoe.

Halo is a very easy game even on legendary, that being Said metroid has no hard mode and is still fairly difficult (Try beating Quadraxis or Chakra in one run)

That being said you have more of everything in the metroid prime games, while in Halo you run out of bullets anbd such, however Halo is still an esier game. If you put Samus in Halo, she's be fine, put Master chief in Metroid and Kraid would eat him.

Sorry but I think it's fairly clear, Samus has quite a bit on Master Cheif.

In Metroid Prime, the Phazon Beam (a hyper weapon) is used against the final boss, Metroid Prime. When the corrupted Phazon Suit comes into contact with liquid Phazon, it goes into "Hyper-Mode", supercharging Samus' Arm Cannon and allowing her to shoot a continuous stream of destructive energy. It automatically arcs towards enemies. The Phazon Beam is the only weapon that can damage the second form of Metroid Prime.

If neither one has powerups (energy tanks, beams, visors vs shields/invisibility, plasma grenades, swords, etc.), that are discovered in gameplay, then Chief would probably win--Samus would only have the wussy beam, no morph ball, no extra energy tanks--but it would be close because all chief would have is a machine gun and pistol.

If they are both fully powered up to optimum level, then Samus pwns Chiefs a$$ hands down. Even if chief is cloaked, Samus has a visor for the job and can lock on with any number of weapons including all her charge beams and super missles. She also has her super bombs that basically incinerate everything. She also has the phazon beam, as mentioned earlier, but all Chief has to do is keep his distance from the puddle of Phazon. But don't forget the hyper beam from Super Metroid that Samus acquires after Mother Brain kills the Metroid hatchling. (Man I'm a nerd!) But who cares about all those other powerups when all Samus has to do is a Screw attack on Chief, and he would be dust (he e he, Samus can kill Chief by Screwing him. . .) with no way to counter-attack or defend.

Anyway, nine times out of ten, Samus would destroy Chief with any given assortment of powerups.

I remember once putting together a detailed comparison of both characters and their various equipment, just for fun. Purely on the strength of gear, when fully loaded Samus has a big, big advantage. Master Chief has the advantage of superior weight and armor if both characters use their starting loadout, but given Samus' superior agility I think it might still be a close thing.

A poll might have been handy for this. I mean, at the end of the day, it's always someone's opinion.

i agree with rid***** being dropped , but kratos and dante arent really very similar at all. its a total mismatch . kratos will wipe the floor with dante. dante is just a kid compared to kratos.

I know im jumping the gun here but I dont think they should be in competition with each other. Kratos needs a more worthy foe....someone likethe incrdible hulk , but one thats more of a video game charachter.

btw I think kratos' story is probably the best told story i've ever experienced in video games. snake is a bit of an arrogant nob ...and his story isnt really as well told...the halo story was great ( thats halo 1 , not the suckfest that was halo 2) but it wasnt really a story about the masterchief, kratos' story is a very personal one and a great one...i'd just like to share that with u all. god bless

If both were fully powered, I'd say Samus would take it =P And for background, she was infused with Chozo blood as well as trained by Chozo iirc. Samus fully powered up is near invincible. Her beams can stack, or she can use Phazon Beam if we're talking Prime. Her screw attack is a OHKO in the 2D games. She can jump an infinite amount of times (again 2D games). Super Missles, Power Bombs... I swear that woman is rigged.

Did anyone else who played Zero Mission think you were invincible at the end? I thought I was >_>;; I found out I wasn't when I got to those crazy grey pirates at the end XD

Sorry to the guy who thinks MC is faster, he's not all that weigt weights him down, and plus we all forget that Samus' Powerbomb has the force of a small hydrogen bomb, and the Warhammer from Hunters has a small nuclear reactor in it. She has much more of an arsenal then we though because we all failed to mention the firepower from Metroid Prime: Hunters.

Also for the person who says Metroid is less popular then Halo, granted Halo in it's first 2 games has likely sold more units then Metroid 1 and 2, right now Metroid is the driving force for Nintendo's WFC, also (and you can find this information at IGN, Gamespot, or any other major gaming site) the WFC is growing at a much higher rate then Xbox Live, and could possibly surpass it even before the Wii comes out. So I guess Samus is pretty popular.

It was sad how u cut to the chase in the Outcome of Samus vs. MC. MC's slow butt couldnt escape a single powerbomb from samus(probably wouldnt kno which way to run in order to escape it) Besides that MC couldnt even hand Samus from a distance even if they were closing in on each other. They both have sniper's now, and Samus's is more innate. Maybe if MC was anything like Spartan-Linda, He's stand a chance at sniping. But Samus with her unlimited ammo, and homming missles and now, the weapons featured in Prime Hunters, she IS undefeatable! I don't see how having a character's past or personality not fleshed out as much would lead them to their defeat being pitted against a character from a different game universe. Where do you come up with that kind of logic, really?

Let's see,...Samus has unlimited beam ammo with several different types of beams, missiles, super missiles, super jump, morph ball, bombs, is impervious to heat, and gravity, and let's not forget to mention she can see through walls and has predator-like thermal vision...

Hmmmm and that's not enough?!?

The battle would be reminiscent to the Black Knight in Monty Python in the holy grail. She would blast off all his limbs, one by one, until he was just a little torso jumping around, and then she would destroy him. End of story.

Based on how high mc can jump and how much damage he does by pistol whipeing we know he is hella powerful. And he can jump that high despite his weight so this leads me to conclude that he would be very fast despite his weight and the books describe him as agile so Samus doesnt (bEaTz hIm AuToMaTiClIeZ) like you guys seem to think. Also if you are going to compare them then they need to both be fully loaded with all there gear or none of it. obviously with none of it MC would mess Samus up but what about full loaded? I think Samus would probably win due to all of her gadgets, lock on ability, and speed but I wouldnt count MC out 100%. If MC was fully loaded that would mean he would have the entire Halo arsenal including over shield, sniper rifle, rocket launcher, sword, and the all mighty h1 pistol. Not to mention the fact that most/all of Samuses weapons are energy based and we know how little energy weapong affect him compared to hot lead. On the other hand MC has both so wich ever worked best could be used against her. I love the Metroid games but that doesnt make her a more elite character. Its like compareing two super heroes, just because one is more powerful doesnt make the character better.

To all the peeps who think that Master Chief would win hands down if you compare the two without any upgrades, maybe you should think again.

It really depends on strategy. Master Chief only has a finite amount of ammo. We all know Samus is fast enough to run circles around Chief, even just the strafing in the Prime games. She could just blast him while running circles, while he just runs out of ammo.

It's all about strategy.

Without any armor, I think they might be pretty evenly matched. I've never read the Halo books, but if I recall correctly, both are genetically modified, so while Master Chief has the benefit of a militaristic super-soldier type serum, who knows what crazy stuff having a Chozo infusion does to you.

I will reitterate like all who have gone before me, fully powered, Samus would win. Master Chief's armor might be able to regenerate, but anybody who's played the Halo games knows he's NOTHING when that shield is down, and with infinite ammo, Samus just has to keep on firing, baby, just keep on firing.

We all know Ms. Aran would pulverize John-117 (aka Master Chief). There's no way the Chief could take out Samus. Play Metroid Prime and play Halo: Combat Evolved or Halo 2 and you'll see why. Samus is extremely agile and much faster than John. The Chief would eventually run out of ammo and his shield would give way, thus giving Ms. Aran the advantage. I truly believe (with all due respect Christopher C.) the editor writing this article is most likely a fan of the Halo series to make such final judgement.

I will admit that I'm a Halo fan myself. I own both Halo:CE & Halo 2, I have the Xbox & Xbox 360 (and plan on waiting in line for Halo 3). I have a Gamecube and have played both Metroid Prime & MP2: Echoes. I do play Halo 2 on Live a lot, more so than the Metroid games on my 'Cube, but that is not indicative that Samus as a fighter is inferior to the chief. The only thing that the Halo series has over the current Metroid games on the 'Cube is its excellent multi-player feature.

Another thing to Halo is the fact that John-117 is depicted as an a$$-kicking bad-a$$ from humble beginnings. Which a lot of male gamers like and seem to identify with. Therefore a lot of us tend to think that the Chief would win (especially against a "woman"). Who wants to see their new favorite male hero being overtaken by a woman? Didn't think so!

So be fair and give the victory to whom deserves it.

Samus was the only survivor of her colony after a space pirate attack, it wasen't because she hid like a little girl, it was because she fought hard and waited for the Chozo to arrive, Master Cheif survied a number of alien attacks by sheer dumb luck. Also Samus plays though the original Metroid Without her suit if you can unlock it. Which reminds me Zero Suit Samus from Super Smash Bros Brawl can use the grapling hook and such, no suit involved. Also she can basically fly with the screw attack and all of her weapons (including her gunship) are connected to her blood. Lol Actually that leads me to another point, I actually tested out how much damage the power bomb does and it could easily destroy his shild and kill him because it has a huge range and does damage the entire time he's within the range. MC may have a regenerating shield, it takes a few moments to regenerate, and within that time Samus is fast enough to give him a nice shot, heck maybe with the imperialist.

While Snake does rock, Chief and Samus are out of his element. Both have space armor with augmented physical abilities. Snake could not even reach Chiefs neck to snap it without standing on a chair. I personally think that samus would win because of several things:

1) she is able to, fall from any hight without geting hurt where as if Master Cheif fell from a high enough distance he would die.

2) Samus can breath under water where as Master Cheif can't (at least I don't know he can)

3) With the scan visor, she would have the info right at her hands on how to beat Master Cheif, while Master Cheif has to figure it all himself.

5) I doubt that bullets would harm her at all, and the beam weapons on Halo are much weaker than some weapons in the Metroid series

Master Chief's armor is all but invincible. With enough consecutive hits, that energy armor runs out, and MC is open for attack. Samus would have to win if you conisider everything in her arsenal compared to master chief. As stated before, master chief can only hold two weapons at once, three if dual wielding. And even if MC had noob combo, Samus doesnt have a f***ing gay shield that doesnt hold up against s**t, so she wouldnt be affected. Even if MC had the rocket launcher/sniper, rocket/sword, he wouldnt be able to take health down fast enough on Samus. She has freakin 10 health bars of 99 hp each. Samus uses mostly plasma and phazon weapons. We all have seen how fast plasma weapons destroy MCs shield. All samus would need to do is fire of three or four NORMAL plasma shots, or just a charge shot, and his shield would be f***ed. Then just fire on missile and bye bye MC. Who cares if MC outweighs her by 800 pounds. All that does is make it hurt more if he PUNCHES OR KICKS HER. If she kept her distance, the f***ing weight wouldnt make a difference. Samus is more agile, not FASTER. Agile is different. Shes more evasive than MC. They have equal running speeds and jumping heights normally, but samus also has a double jump. If you were going by fight with no powerups, then samus would still win, because she starts off every game with.....*Secret Weapon*=Power Beam. This power beam is *OMG* PLASMA. I would say that who wins is strictly a matter of opinion.

That being said, strength alone does not always win battles, and I believe that this article does not examine every aspect of the battle. The "He is stronger and therefore will win" argument is quite one dimensional. The person writing this should also factor in the types of weapons each character would use and their more specific strengths, the type of terrain and how each character would use it to his/her advantage, how each character reacts to different situations, which character is able to utilize better strategies, etc.

Better yet, the person writing this should ask people to vote on who will win the next "fight" and which qualities give him/her an advantage, and then follow those guidelines as opposed to basing his writing strictly on personal opinions.

You may have not called the halo books good directly, but you think that they were well written and enjoyable. To put this in kingergarten terms, it means that the books are "good" by your judgement. If you deny that, then you contradict yourself like you've been doing. You may have called me dumb and say i look shallow and immature, and then say you have never called me a name (you are right about that), but you still say bad things about me which is what names do, all names do is label you based on what is bad, which is just as bad as saying what the person is. In your 120 post, you said "its one thing to fight and argue for your fav character but to result to name calling is rediculas" which was obviously aimed at me saying i am biased and that i get mad and talk down on others that oppose me. Which is all true except that i am not biased. In 128/129 though you said "And lastly I never said anything about likeing the MC over Samus" Contradiction? Also, I considered the strengths of their weapons when i was writing how the fight would end up. I considered them based on what they are able to accomplish during the games, their biography, tactics, and the way they react to others in games AND books(halo). I should have posted this earler to not have others recieve my posts negatively. I am sorry for this. I know i am just as bad as those i talk down on and belittle. I admit it. However, i do not pretend to be intelligent. I AM intelligent. fu, I am not ignorant by any stretch of the imagination. I know both characters very well, and if you are basing it of of the way i treat others or act when im not talking about the characters, you are still wrong. You seem to be running out of *false* accusations to post against me. Every one is just trying to defend their character from their "prefered" platform. I look at it this way.

Samus AND MC team up against everything bad. samus freezes them MC Shoots them with bullets that go right through ice without shattering it.

Also for those who think samus is slow, many of her games (wich also ad to her experience) Have a speed booster which allows her to run at ....like .....1000kph! its nuts.

I havent played any halo games but my friend tell me sume stuff bout them. Thing is Supposively halo 3 is the last halo game.... but as far as i know they will be continuing metroid games..... so whos samus guna fight after halo 3?

Calling names and desrcribing someone or theire behavior is not anywhere close to the same. When someone does something and you make an observation about that person and their actions it is SOP. Saying "yOuR a ReTaRdz aNd A AzzHoLeZzzzz!" or any other name calling is childish AND wrong.

Now on to the books that I never said were good... well I guess thats it? I never said they were good so why are you twisting things around? Well let me explain my self. I said they were well written, as in they were written with skill. I also said that I enjoyed them but I seperated the two statements because me enjoying them is about me and my opinions while being well written is in my mind a fact. I chose not to call them good and to seperate my posts in that way to reconize that being "good" is an opinion and it is pointless to word an opinion as a fact.

On a final note (I say final because this will be my last post) you assume too much. You assume that I like MC more becasue I called you biased but I dont and you are. You assume I am unintelligent because of poor spelling wich is rediculous, you dont even know me. You cant honestly tell me that you cant think of one good reason why I would spell poorly on a message board? Well I will give you a few examples, perhaps I dont care enough about a message board to spell/grammar check, maybe I dont care enough to even try, maybe I have used MS Word for so log that I am not used to writing things without those checkers, there are many other possible reasons but to be honest it is a combination of the three and the fact that I am not a strong speller. Does that make me "stupid", "uninteligent", or "dumb"? I dont think so but I am sure you will jump to conclusions just like you have with all of my posts.

First of all for all of you who dont know Samus has been strengthend by robotics, chozo blood and metroid DNA. She can run much faster than him. His most powerfull attackes(rocket luancher, plasma sword, sniper rifel ect...) would take away 30 points of energy. Plasma weapones would take away 1 point of energy. Bullets would do very little if not no damage to her. Now Samus's power beam is about as powerful as the plasma rifle. The wave beam would go throu walles and disrupt his systems. The ice beam would freeze him and she could shater him with a missile. The plasma beam is equivelant to 1 of MC's missiels. 2 of samus's missiels are = to one rocket. Super missiles, ice spreder,wavebus ter, darkburst(black hole), sun burst(mini sun), sonic boom(wall of sonic energy),imperia list, power bombs, screw attack and speed bossters would 1 hit kill him.

No suits/weapons:
Samus has chozo blood, and she is able to wall jump even without her suit, plus she is known to scrap metal with a plain punch (metroid manga)
Chief is Cybernetic and has super strength and military training, but cannot see how just millitary would be better than chozo training.

Starting Gear:
Samus has a power suit that has 99 points of energy that are known to last in acid for 7 seconds. Infinite Power Beam. Power beam has roughly the same power as a machine gun when uncharged.
Unless Chief starts with 99 bullets (since power beam does 1 damage i will give his first weak pistol the same output) samus can just stay away and barrage him until he falls.

End Game gear:
I will just give samus her gravity suit and lets say puny standards of zero mission that is 699 units of energy, 255 missles, 50 super missles and 50 power bombs. Topped with Icy Wavy Plasma beam.
Chies is said to have insta kill weapons, so i will be fair and give them 1 energy tank damage 100 energy. still, 1 hit from samus'es icy wavy Plasma beam will freeze him and penetrate his shiled completely. all it will take after this is 1 missle to the face.

and what are you saying master chief has more experience? samus has been training since 4, and killing things since 12!

samus wins, just the fact that chief would not last a second against ridley is a testament to that .

Samus wipes out entire planets in less than 2 hours. She could just as easily take on the chief + Megaman + the entire Convenant Army. Her ship is automated to fly in and aid at her will. She can morph into a ball. Her suit doesn't require her to hide behind a box while it recharges. You mentioned yourself that she never runs out of ammo. Samus has been in Training since she was 4.

Let's see the Chief's abilities.
Armor abilities: Evade make him dive outta the way of anything Samus shoots on him.
Sprint will make Up a good approach.
Drop Shield may not withstand Samus' weapons, but it would heal him at least a bit.
Camouflage, don't even ask.
Hologram would fool Samus as he reloads/gets close/runs.
Armor Lock will leave him invincible.
Jet Pack will Launch him HIGH. Samus would go after, but he shoots before she gets close.

Just by going what you (the author) wrote in "The Outcome" section, Samus is faster, more agile, has way more weapons, and generally never runs out of ammo, and can scan her environments and things for advantages.

You tell us Master Chief has the Spartan Mark IV, and that it can take a lot of damage, and he has Cortana. That's it.

Yet, somehow he wins.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Halo armor does go down and needs to be recharged, right? So if Samus is attacking faster with practically unlimited ammo and scanning for weaknesses to get the job done faster, how the hell can Chief win?

I have no bias on either side, but having played games from either franchise and read some of the Halo novels, I'd have to say Samus wins.

Now don't get me wrong, I like Halo, but if you just compare the damage Samus is capable of taking (she could probably take at least three halo missiles and keep going), with the damage master chief can take (one missile and he's down) it becomes clear that Samus has the advantage in armor. As you already pointed out she has the advantage in agility and armament (think halo 2 rocket launcher with a 255 round magazine or semi-auto halo 1 rocket launcher with a 255 round magazine). They are both at about the same skill level, but Samus's power suit is far superior to mjolnir armor because Metroid is set farther into the future than halo. (Think US marine from 1812 versus US marine from 2011).

Also, in response to the Ice beam bashing, it was heavily implied in one of the Metroid games that it was designed to take out power armored oponents by supercooling the components so that they lock up. It is not just artic temperatures (around -100 degrees Fahrenheit) it is so cold it can freeze things that were at temperatures that could melt rock; is probably cold enough to freeze air (in the neighboorhood of -400 degrees fahreinheit)

Since no one seems to know this, Samus does in fact have shields and if we assume the basic Metroid missile and the Halo rocket have the same power (the Metroid missile is probably the more powerful of the two), I can come up with numbers to compare their shields. MC has a max of 100 shield units (rocket does 50 damage) and can recharge up to 50. Samus has 2099 shield units and can recharge up to 200 of them (concentration in Other M).

Brothers of games, listen to my plea. Why do you fight amongst yourselves? This needs to be resolved here and now before you guys cause WW3. Halo fans, I'd have to give it that Samus would win this fight; Master Chief's tech is just not to par with Samus's.
Metroid fans, i may have pulled for Master Chief but don't get so cocky. If I could choose who would better be able to wear Samus's armor, it would definitly be MC. He's defintly better trained in combat, seeing as how he was raised to become THE PERFECT SOLDIER(hint, hint, he was labled a Spartan; look in the history books and you'll find who were considered the most bad*** soldiers in history. Outside of the suits, Master Chief would definitly defeat Samus. Not only does he think more strategically, he's more trained in all-around combat(includin g hand-to-hand), and is stronger and faster thanks to the experiments done on him, not to mention the cybernetic implants that allowed him to think faster and react quicker than any other human in the world.
So in conclusion, even though Samus Aran has the better tech (by like 1000 years or so)which would allow her to beat MC, she will always be just the lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you look at it) little girl who was given an unfairly, overly powerful suit by super-smart aliens. It's almost sad really; The suit is what gave her her greatness. Master Chief on the other hand to put it simply, is the ultimate killing machine given the short end of the awsome power suit stick. It can definitly be said that MC takes the cake as the better warrior (not saying that Samus couldn't hold her own though.)
So now that i've hopefully cleared that up can't we all just get along and focus on what really matters, wailing on Sony fans and their iconic game characters?
