Nintendo has announced that the incoming DS Lite won't all be available on the original release day. The "Ice Blue" and "Enamel Navy" type were delayed from March 2 to March 11.

According to one of our internal contacts, there are some facts behind this delay. The 2 colored DS Lite were delayed, because they are having color wearing-off issues now. The white one was not delayed, simply because it has no color to wear offÂ…

Oh well! Nice one, Nintendo!

There were just as many "dead pixel" problems at NDS launch as there where with the PsP launch. You *****ing fanboy.

The PSP actually had a ton more dead pixel issues than the DS did...

If you really must open up the dead pixel debate again, the difference between Nintendo and Sony (aside from the DS having fewer dead pixel problems) was that Nintendo offered to exchange any unit with even one dead pixel and they did this from day one.

Sony on the other hand knew that there were going to be problems with dead pixels so they held of having any policy for as long as possible before settling on the rather lame rule of only agreeing to replace the unit if it had 3 or more dead pixels grouped near the center of the screen. Anything on the periphery wouldn't count.

It's not that the PsP actually had more problems than DS did. It's that 'tendo fans blew it out of proportion. Just like sony fanboys did when the XBX360 launched. These "horror" stories you hear actually only happen to a few people, but because so many people report it as having happened it seems like a lot more. When you buy a system I don't care which one, you buy warrenty. The people who complain are the ones that are too stupid to figure this out.

If your psp had dead pix u are screwed unless u had more then 12.If your nds had atleast one dead pix, nintendo will replace your whole ds.

The ds rarely had dead pix problems like the psp did.

Sounds like you've been the stupid one I'm afraid. So lets reiterate what has already been posted: Sony would not replace your PSP if it had dead pixels unless there were 3 or more on or near to the center of the screen.

It's a simple as that.

Quit going off topic people...please....See, they open these things for the topic itself, and you guyz hall of talkin about other things. If someones a dumb*** about somthing ignore their post and just post something about the topic.
