Classic games rock. And classic games that are ported homebrew-style onto a new platform rock even harder. And if that certain classic game that was "ported" got an update... Now that rocks like whoa. What more could a sentimental gamer ask for, right?

Ergon's homebrew SuperPang DS is now on version 0.1b. It's his homebrew that's based on the arcade game Pang, Pomping World, and Buster Bros. And if you're not familiar with the game, it's rather simple: just bust the bouncing balls. You use a grappling gun to shoot up and pop these balls all around the stage. Once a ball pops, it splits into two smaller ones. Each ball will split into smaller balls every time you pop it, until finally, they're too small and just pop into oblivion.

What's new:

Revised bounce of balloons
Tighter collisions
All three weapons
Mini game style with score and high-score

Controls:

Press start to begin playing
Press left & right to move
Press A to shoot arrow weapon
Press Y to shoot sticky arrow weapon
Press X to shoot bullet weapon
