Super Dodgeball Brawlers trailer video

Dodgeball is definitely one of the more mean-spirited team-based games out there - second only to football and hockey. While certainly a no-contact sport, you ARE encouraged to make living targets out of the opposing team - and in this latest trailer of Super Dodgeball Brawlers for the Nintendo DS, we see that exact way of thinking with the volume turned all the way up. Uncompromising, over-the-top brutality in cute superdeformed graphics - that's Super Dodgeball Brawlers for you from Aksys Games.

Looking at the trailer, it seems that this could be a hit in the making. The top screen of the Nintendo DS is where all the action in Super Dodgeball Brawlers take place, while the bottom screen appears to be where the scores and other miscellany are displayed. Gameplay seems a bit floaty and slow, but definitely engaging and gives the player room for strategy. Any faster and it would certainly be chaotic.
