As one of those gems that aren't likely to leave Japan, Summon Night for the Nintendo DS by developer Flight-Plan and publisher Banpresto recently got its own website up for everyone's viewing.

For those not in the know, this reiteration of Summon Night on Nintendo's handheld is a remake of the original which appeared on the PlayStation. Since the series began in 2000, it received a good amount of fans in the land of the rising sun and even successfully shipped its Summon Night: Swordcraft Story spin-offs for the Game Boy Advance to the west.

Summon Night's main series is made up of turn-based strategy games, and its revival on the DS will stay true to its roots. On the website which you can find via link below, there's a couple of trailers and lots of details about the remake. It's set for release in Japan on April 24, and according to the notes on the site, Summon Night 2 will also be on the DS come summer time.
