SSBB, Wii Fit continue to dominate Japanese charts

Wii Fit - Image 1If you're wondering which games have been racking up sales in Japan during the past week or so, we can help you with that. Media Create has released its estimates and we're seeing a familiar look at the sales hierarchy of the far East.

Topping this list is the rambunctious and insanely fun Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It's followed by exercise software Wii Fit, Nintendo DS hit Tokimeki Memorial: Girl's Side 2nd Season comes in at third. Two Sony PlayStation 2 titles round up the top five.

  5. [PS2] Ebi Kore+ Kimi Kiss (Enterbrain) - 34,000
  6. [WII] Wii Sports (Nintendo) - 22,000
  7.  [PSP] Mobile Suit Gundam: Goren's Ambition, The Axis' Threat (Bandai-Namco) - 22,000
  8. [NDS] Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (Nintendo) - 21,000
  9. [PS3] Devil May Cry 4 (Capcom) - 18,000
  10. [NDS] Naruto: Shippuuden Dairansen! Kage Bunshin Emaki (Takara-Tomy) - 17,000

One look at the disapointing game linup on the Wii even 15 months after launch and over 15 million consoles sold it's not hard to figure out why that game sells so well.
