Square Enix: DS Final Fantasy XII In Development |

As an update to our earlier article about Final Fantasy XII rumored to be available on the DS, we can now confirm that the game is already in development. How?
Japanese magazine Shonen Jump got the confirmation from the people at Square Enix themselves, where the company admitted that Final Fantasy XII Wings Ghost is already in development for the DS. The magazine also showed an artwork which shows two of the characters that will appear in the said game. Square Enix won't divulge any more details, but it is said the game will be based mainly on the adventures of characters Vaan and Penelo. Final Fantasy XII will also reportedly feature a graphic style that will appeal more to a younger market.

Seems like Square is comeing back to nintendo :) hope that means smrpg ds some day
Nice but...for a younger market ? I am not sure about that. I will need to see the screens first before I know for sure.
i want a new mario rpg type game thats made by squaure NOT nintendo.
Anyone know if this will be like the other few FF Tactics game? I like standard RPGs too, but I will be fine playing FF III on DS for a while.

Heh sorry for that but yeah FFIII I'm waiting for and will have it and play it like a mad man! Then when I'm through with it with nothing left to do in the game I'll be able to put it down for the wonderfull FFXII ds game that'll come out! Hurray! I love it so many awesome RPGs out on the horizon! Dragon Quest, FF's, Blue Dragon, Enchanted Arms(yes out already), and more sweeeeeeets ^^
