Square Enix announces two new Chocobo games for the DS |

Square Enix's ever-so-lovable Chocobo is heading out to places new and unknown! Square Enix has announced two new Chocobo games for the DS, both of which follow the plucky bird into a variety of different adventures.
The first game announced was Cid and Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon: Maze of Time DS+, a rogue-like RPG that tasks Cid and Chocobo with exploring new dungeons, finding great treasure and weapons, and vanquishing big baddies. The game is slated for a Japanese release this fall.
The second game Square Enix brought up is called Chocobo and the Magic Storybook: The Witch and the Girl and the Five Heroes. As you can probably guess, this game is a sequel to Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales, and features more minigames for casual players to enjoy. This game is scheduled for release this winter, so you'd best watch out for it.
Details regarding these two games are still scarce, but they do have websites up now that feature some nice flash animation and a splash screen.
