This is common sense. Just go to IGN and look at the reviews of Wii, PS3 and 360 games. Wii is the worst with plenty of 5.0's and under. PS3 is second and 360 is first because its been out the longest. PS3 and 360 will have the best quality games and anyone who doesn't believe so, is just wrong. Also, look at PSP vs DS. PSP has higher rated games than the DS also.

If u look at the amount of games for 360 overall wouldnt it have the higher number of better reviewed games? Easier to get a high percentage when ur taking it from a lower number of games. So with the 360's second place above 80% and least number of games below 50% overall it would be a higher number of good games. Am i wrong?

simply cause the reasoning is that developers are stampeding to get onboard the Wii and hence the quality of games will be more ***** that before. If those developers had have stated work earlier the games would have been better.



Also, lets see the purchase charts too. Hopefully Wii owners aren't buying the ***** they're giving us.

I dont even own a wii/psp but its so funny how they claim that the ds and wii have *****ty games yet they are being outsold by the MILLIONS.



And as for them having the "highest quality" (whatever that means?) with only like 50 games and like 10 of them being rated well, thats all it would take.



In all actuality this report proved two things:

1. That Microsoft is doing the best in the gaming section (they had the most games that were rated fair to excellent, compared to being just really good and really bad they had all types of games that appealed to certain sets of gamers).

2. That Sony really has no judgement about good games seeing as how they keep yelling that the wii has no games yet are still being outsold again, BY THE MILLIONS.

I think what will go down as time progresses is Microsoft and Sony turning into the Sega and Nintendo of past. I think Nintendo knows it to be a console that compliments either. I love all three consoles and the minute the PS3 gets down in price, I'll pray for a mod so I can get free games. PS2 + 300gig HDD with a crap load of ISOs + The Greatest Win Ever. Sony has the nice hardware, and at times the better software, what happens is all that comes at a price that sadly I can't agree with. Thus the holding out with my 1.50 PSP that now has the custom firmware along with a now price dropped 4gig stick and again, a now somewhat adequate library of ISOs. Sony is good but for some odd reason that is hte company I must confess, I pirate the most.



360, I give it time before I eventually rape it's inside. And I do not know why I actually buy Wii games when you can in theory mod that. I have this sickening loyalty to actually buy stuff for my Wii. Probably cause I want to keep them around ha! Well I am just ranting now, I apologize. PS3 NEEDS MORE PS3 GAMES!!!!! Sure all those upcoming games look awesome, but all I keep hearing about are delays. PS3 has been out for months now and I can still count how many games that are actually available on my fingers and some on my toes....

Sure the 360 has alot of the same type of games eg shooters,racing sims, but at least when your done with one, theres another to keep you occupied until the "QUALITY" games come out....Right now PS3 needs quantity over quality....right now my PS3 is just collecting dust occasionally ill turn it on and use it to heat up my room :)

Wii Sports + Zelda are the 2 games moving Wii's at the moment. But people know when they buy a Nintendo product that they get Mario, Donkey Kong + Yoshi games. If the Wii was made by Phillips and didn't come with those franchises I know my 3 nephews definitely wouldn't have bought a Wii.

PS3 games CONSISTENTLY receive lower review scores than 360 games. For proof of that check out EVERY SINGLE GAME ported over to the PS3.



PS3 am garbage.

With an average the total number is not imporant. YOu add up all the scores from ps3 and 360 divide that by the number of games on each system, than you have an average. I'm not saying xboys are dumb but you learn how averages work in the 4th grade.

Well when you have only 35 titles under your belt and at least 18 are AAA titles that came out for the 360 already like months before the PS3 release it only makes sense it has more 80% better developed games... Now a system with over 100 games is more likely to have more 50% games because there's more to "nit-pick" on. And I can't say THQ has been very helpful to the Wii or the Xbox 360, their games never exceed 50% and with 360 trying to produce more games for younger audiences the likelihood of this changing isn't very likely... My point is, PS3 has no kids games and since it's trying to be seen as an adults system and seeing as how only adults take surveys it ends up being PS3 the winner since it has no kids games.. End of story.

xbox 360 owners always rant about "we've got lots of great games and the PS3 doesn't" so i'll make a point:



* xbox 360 was released BEFORE the PS3 so it's had more time for a higher quantity great games.



* PS3 has a lot less games but they are mostly great games and any gamer would wait a year or even two if a console was going to get high quality games like MGS4 and Gran turismo.



i own a PS3 and i'm thinking of getting a wii. 3 of my friends own an Xbox 360 and i enjoy playing their 360's as much as they enjoy playing my PS3. If someone could give me a GOOD reason why the ps3 sucks instead of "it's not a xbox" or "it's to exspensive" or "the games are crap" then i'll give them 2 reasons why i prefer the PS3 over the Xbox360 .

360 games in the top twenty Range from the highest Score of 94 for Gears and Oblivion. The lowest of the top 20 games bottoms out at 84 with Viva Pinata



Looking at the top twenty rated games on PS3:, The number one game is Oblivion, with a rating of 93 (lower than 360's), and the lowest rating a 76 (Calling all Cars) but notice how PS3 only has 4 games rated higher than 84!!! 360 has 19 games rated higher than 84!!



Its no Mystery why PS3 continues to suck, its a $600 Game system, that has VERY FEW GOOD GAMES. Period



I find it very interesting that if you compare Metacritic scores for games that are on both systems, you find 360's are rated much higher:



Oblivion : 360 - Scores a 94, PS3 Scores a 93

FEAR: : 360 - 85 PS3 -72

Splinter Cell : 360- 85 PS3- 78



Also, compare the total number of games: Xbox has 188 games. PS3 has 44.



No wonder is PS3 is getting slammed in the @$$ right now.



To recap : 360 is cheaper, has more games, has higher rated games, and games that are on both systems are rated higher on the 360.



I also predict that Forza 2, Mass Effect, and Halo 3 will all get metacritics higher than 90.





But, 360 can't Blu Ray discs. So, I guess that makes PS3 better.

The Xbox360 in my oppinion has the best games then the wii then the PS3 all its got is obivion and resitace

I have both console and i must says that i had my xbox since day one. I returned it 7 time now. Plus 6 of my friend already returned their console 2 to 3 times each. Maybe microsoft is good with softweare developpement but in hardware they really suck deep. Common, read everywhere microsoft fan boys, everybody are telling it, 360 quality is verry bad, even best of 360 fanboys tell it so don'T comme here and post , 360 is good and sony is bad this is so childish. Another Wii game in the 5.0 range. Nintendo will be dead soon if their exclusives are getting these low scores. I mean, the Wii has the LOWEST rated games of any console ever minus the n-gage, but people buy it. Nintendo has to be laughing at you guys. The only good games coming for the Wii are smash, mario galaxy and metroid and even metroid looks horrible in terms of graphics. If Mario galaxy and smash get anything other than 9.0, the Wii will have basically no high rated games.
