For those of you who loved the retro anime Speed Racer, now's your chance to play as the daredevil race car driver as the video game iterations of the upcoming Speed Racer live action film hit the shelves in North America. Yes, you can now get behind the wheel of Mach 6 and car number 9, among others.

In case you were living under a rock, Warner Bros., Sidhe Interactive, and Virtuos' Speed Racer: The Videogame mixes fast racing and death defying maneuvers to win a race. (Think Burnout and Wipeout on crack.)

The video game movie tie-in will be featuring the voices of the actors as well, Emile Hirsch as Speed Racer, Christina Ricci as Trixie, and Matthew Fox as Racer X.

Anyway, you can now pick up Speed Racer: The Videogame for the Wii, DS, and PS2 from a store near you. Go!
