SouthPeak Games announces Mister Slime for Nintendo DS |
Ó
SouthPeak Games is sending out word that Nintendo DS owners in North America are in for a treat with the planned release of Mister Slime this coming April. The title is being developed by the studio Lexis Numerique. In a nut shell, Mister Slime puts players in the shoes of the young hero Mr. Slime as he defends Slime Village from the evil Axons.
The hero has some elastic capabilities much like Mr. Fantastic or, err, a slime. Anyway, gameplay will include stretching and dragging Mr. Slime's arms to grab of small anchor points scattered throughout the game.
Aside from the use of stylus, DS' microphone will also be utilized such as blowing on it to make the character fly. Djamil Kemal, Development Director at Lexis Numerique, said:
The advanced physics engine combined with elasticity, and interaction with many different objects creates a very engaging gameplay experience. There is nothing else out there like it.
To know if this game is for you, we added a couple of images to give you an idea how Mister Slime feels and play out.
