Slide And Run Released! |
As part of the NeoFlash Summer Coding Competition (2006),
Gwoin has released Slide and Run - a NDS homebrew game. This game is one of the
most unique and innovative games that I have seen entered into this
competition. We've seen Nintendo's new approach to simplistic games with their
Touch Generations and the upcoming Wii console, but it seems like homebrew
developer's are spreading the same love.
Gwoin's Slid and Run homebrew game promises a unique gameplay experience while
you help a alien (who accidentally fell to earth's surface) find his spaceship.
The unique part of the game comes in the controls - full stylus control!
You
must move objects out of Marsxzel's (the stranded alien) way and you can even
have him jump just by touching him! There are a total of 12 unique levels, all
of which pose different obstacles and situations!
