Sim City DS

It looks like Sim City DS is in the works. Seeing as the DS is trying to appeal to non-gamers, this is a perfect fit! Judging from the scans, the game looks like it might be specific to Japan. However, localization probably wouldn't be too tough. It's being worked on by Electronic Arts, who owns Maxis. It will be based on SimCity 3000. Hopefully we'll hear more about it soon! The scan is from Famitsu.

The SimCity games are some of the most popular casual games on the market. They started the whole "Sim" thread that eventually led to the mega-popular The Sims game. The DS' touch capabilities should add a lot to this game considering it originated as a PC game.
