In an interview with Famitsu, Omiya Soft Producer Hideo Suzuki revealed some good news.
Culdcept fans can expect elevated gameplay from the game's previous versions with the addition of more cards alongside revisions of previous ones. According to Suzuki, the game will have a total of 370 card types, including new types. Battles and trading with other players will also be made possible through Wi-Fi.
Satoshi Nakai will once again shoulder the job of handling the art of the DS version. Plus die-hard Culdcept fans will be glad to hear that the games latest version won't stray too far from what they are already become accustomed to since the DS version will be based on Culdcept 2: Expansion for the PlayStation 2.
According to Suzuki, Culdcept for the DS shall only be adjusted in terms of overall game balance and revision of existing card abilities. Not only that, Suzuki added that gamers unfamiliar with Culdcept will find the game easy to use with the reimplementation of past features found in Culdcept Second for Dreamcast.
