The Rabbids are going home to their other new home, the Nintendo DS. Ubisoft wants to spread the rabbid goodness to the handheld, even adding extra functionality to those who have the new DSi.

Rabbids Go Home on the DS will carry the same storyline as in the Wii version, with the rabbids being on a mission to go home by collecting everything and anything they can get their hands on to pile them up high above enough to reach the moon.

 

You have the option to play either the story mode, or the four different challenge modes, each carrying 20 puzzles. There's also a level editor to let you guys create and share your own puzzles with the rest of the rabbid fans.

The extra-added functionality mentioned earlier for the DSi owners is My Rabbids, a camera-based application which will allow players to customize their photos with Rabbids clip-art.

The Rabbids will attempt to have another successful trip home later this Holidays. In the meantime, enjoy the screenshots we have for you.
