Sakurai Says No Smash for DS |
Ó
According to a translation of Masahiro Sakurai's words, "Fans should look forward to the Wii version instead of a DS version." So that should put to rest any rumours people are having of a handheld version of Nintendo's popular fighter. Seeing as Iwata does not trust Super Smash Bros. in the hands of anyone but Sakurai and the fact that Sakurai doesn't exactly work for Nintendo any more, the chances of more than one Smash Bros. per console generation is slim as it is. Not bad seeing as the Wii version will benefit from the extra attention. After all, how are you going to do all the attacks with no analog stick or c-stick? Guess we'll just have to enjoy Jump Superstars instead! 38 Jumps PSP Homebrew - PSPDisp v0.4

The C-Stick is for pussies anyway. I would be just fine with a D-Pad for some SSB:DS.
it would have been online and the most popular handheld game ever
who in the christhole uses analog/c stick with ssb
but i guess ill just have to live with the wii ssb. though my best idea for controlls is to have a, b x and y on the bottom screen on the left and the c buttons on the bottom screen on the right. that would kick ass....and voice over ip would have been cool too...
Like I said, at least port one of the 2 that is already release for DS whether its the N64 port or the GC port. And add in the Wifi feature and you will still be making huge bucks around consider DS is a portable system which most people carry around.
wtf is a christhole lol
C'mon here, Nintendo. The DS is an ideal device for Super Smash Bros. With Wireless LAN, friends can battle eachother easier than ever. Also, Wi-Fi allows opponents to be accessed at anytime. It BURNS me to see a game like this not come out on the DS. Argh!
Can't NST at least do a port?
I thought all this time there would be a SSB and now there's not gonna be one? Thats just gay.
