First details of the upcoming WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 video game has apparently been posted by THQ on their French website earlier this week. Among the juicy details scooped by gaming site Ve3tro reveals that for the first time, the game will feature an online Royal Rumble mode,  a complete overhaul to the ‘Road to WrestlemaniaÂ’ mode and many more.

Other features expected for the game includes an updated roster of wrestlers and extensive customization option. The wrestling game which was announced at E3 this year is being developed by Yuke's and will be published by THQ for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, and DS. The game is scheduled to be released on August 23, 2009.

There's a typo in this article, On August 23rd they are releasing more information about the game, And on November 10th is the release date for the game. If you think about it 3 months or so is alittle fast for a game to be completed dont you think? lol

I hope they add other online modes as well, like 6+ man survival. Royal Rumble's "throw people over the ropes (to eliminate them)" mechanic to eliminate them is not that fun to play.

I can just imagine the cheap tactics people online will do to win already...
