So JJ Abrams is making a Star Trek reboot, right? Well apparently, the movie's also getting a video game tie-in called Star Trek DAC that's set for launch this May.According to a report from TrekMovie.com, the game was revealed via an insert that comes with the Star Trek Season One Blu-ray release.
No further details about Star Trek DAC has been released yet. The Paramount link on the insert just redirects to the main Paramount page. The Naked Sky Entertainment website doesn't have anything on the game too
Platforms are still also unknown, but if it's a tie-in, chances are it's going to be multiplatform. Interestingly enough Naked Sky's Jobs section is advertising for a PS3 programmer. They've already had experience programming for Xbox 360 and PC, so perhaps these three platforms are a lock.

I just hope he doesn't turn Star Trek into Lost, damn I hate that show lately. I keep watching it though because I'm emotionaly invested in the characters damn it!

Another shining example that a good licence can easily go to waste in the software market if put into the wrong hands in the search of easy profit.
If they're working on a new game, great! But chances are, most people will 'test' it first with an ISO download before shelling out a cent for round two of the great ***** game ripoff.
