Rumor: Kingdom Hearts prequels in the works |

There haven't been much concrete word recently about Kingdom Hearts by Square Enix, making it a good nest for rumors. Just a few days ago, we've heard some people saying the crossover-filled franchise will be gracing the Wii with an exclusive installment. Now, 1UP reports that the latest EGM issue's rumor mill has something in store for KH fans.According to the gaming mag, a series of prequels may very well be in the works for different platforms. Much like Final Fantasy VII and its many iterations, if EGM's words hold true, we'll see various spin-offs similar to Dirge of Cerberus and FFVII: Crisis Core.
Only a couple of Kingdom Hearts games have reached the PS2, while Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories appeared on the Gameboy Advanced. All of them were exclusives with a continuing story. A short teaser at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 strongly implied that the next game will be set thousands of years before Sora's adventure, during The Keyblade Wars.

kingdom hearts for the wii would be crazy! can't wait till/if it comes out.
The end of KH2 was not a prequel to the story, because in KH2FM you get to battle one of the knights.
Oh well whatever...
i really liked the games...sumthin bout the color i think...or mayb i like disney...no...well it was clever to take somethin u already kno bout instead of makin up a world u have learn all about
that would be awesome, but they aren't disney so it probably wont happen :(

Im getting tired of this...im sick of this multi-platform, im sick of this "Take a good game and port to other system to make them profit" junk...it just ticks me off...just keep it on the bloody system it originated on...gonna do spin-offs? fine....then keep it on the system the originals were made for. if your gonna go multi...than thats fine too, btw, dont mean to contradict...from the first point of the sentence...by the way hope grammar is ok:P

Final fantasy is in there because Square-Enix makes Kingdom Hearts, and Square-Enix also makes Final Fantasy, so they can put their own characters in if they want to. Bugs, Daffy, and co. are all owned by Warner Bros.
if you played KH2 you know on the we it would have 2 many combinations to remember making it annoying. it was oon the sp because no one owned a PSP to make a profit
Exactly how do multi-platform games hurt you? It gives the game a wider audience and let's more people have a chance to enjoy it.
Awesome petition! would be the coolest to get a port of Kindom Hearts on the PSP. Ya, we may not get it but at least these petitions are a voice to the companies saying "hey, this is what we would like to see."
But anyway. Keyblade Wars? hmmm sounds like a rip off of Star Wars with its Clone Wars. Geesh, why ruin a perfectly good story with a prequel? Oh well. If it is a game by squareEnix then it gotta be pretty good.
I love how people don't understand anything on the KH games. First off let me enlighten you, One Sora donald and goofy will be in the next KH game and of course it will be on PS3 since after all its predecessors was on PS2 except CoA. Second since the secret endings to KH2 and KH2+FM showed Mickey we all know it has nothing to do with the past persay. Unless your saying King Mickey is over a thousand years old haha noobs. Though who knows if there place has a magic barrier from age. Also KH is Sora donald and Goofy without them the game won't be KH. Also remember Nomura called the next game a new series not a sequel or prequel. Nomura did say he thinking of a prequel or spin-offs for PSP, DS or a phone version but it has nothing to do with the game im talking about or this story.
I remember him saying that he going to make a spin-off about King mickeys adventure in the dark realm and how he got his keyblade as a game. Please do me a favor and read about the game your making a story of. I have and i can say your mixing up two different games.
Please shut up already, seriously. If you hate the petitions don't take part in them, let them figure it out it won't work, by you doing this all your doing is fueling there urge to post it.
I have no problems in petitions i did one to get bioshock for PS3. I knew it wouldn't work but i felt like doing so, just like them. Let them have there fun. Also since your name is called "Noobicious" i can see your a very big Noob.
