Rokoban - Image 1Remember Sokoban? If that name doesn't ring a bell, there's still a chance that you already played that game, or a spin-off. Sokoban is actually a game created in Japan sometime in the 80's, where players push boxes to certain marked locations.

If you still aren't familiar with Sokoban or if you want to experience it again, you can do so for the Nintendo DS through a homebrewed version, Rokoban, created by homebrew developer Zalo.

Rokoban retains much of Sokoban's original gameplay: solve the puzzle in each stage by pushing boxes to designated spots (no, you can't pull them). The biggest change is the graphics, however: Rokoban has 3D graphics, and the main character is modelled after one of Zalo's characters in an original comic strip.

This nice piece of homebrew is available for the Nintendo DS and Windows versions, and both are available on the download link below. Readme files are also included, so make sure that you read them first before playing Rokoban. Enjoy!
