Seven years have passed since the Racoon City incident, and survivors Leon and Claire are apparently in for another wild ride of zombies and viral infections. The teaser doesn't reveal much about what's waiting, but we can at least say Degeneration looks as stunning as Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
Not much is known about the movie and it is said to have a brand new storyline, so here's to hoping it stays true to its roots. Fortunately, Capcom is behind production and we're not expecting the folks there to turn our favorite redhead into some genetically enhanced woman with amnesia and special powers.

Even crazier than yesterday lol. I think this will be *****ing great. IMO the best way to make video game movies is in CG.
best if CG. that way it is sure to stay true to the franchise - at least visually
Cause it doesnt have my wife Jovovovich AKA ALICE in it and Alice is the main character of the Resident Evil movies and if this is gonna be a movie, it must have Alice as the main character.

Yes I know this movie is an actual sequel to the RE games, probably cause everyone complained to them about Mr. Anderson messing the series up.
Great clip but if this takes 7 years after the Raccoon City incident, then that means its one year after RE4 takes place.
Since RE4 takes place 6 years after the incident.
Well I am glad that they put Claire Redfield and Leon back together like the good ol days.
Oh yeah and I noticed in the videos and screenshots that theres this thing above the characters head or something that looks like a button and it says B and looks like a Wii button.
It looks like what they did with RE4 and how you have to press 1 button alot of times and such for action scenes. It maybe just a prototype but I notice that theres a B wii type button in some scenes of the trailer and screenshots.
Why isn't this on the playstation store? It says the movie is being produced by SONY.
