Galactrix - Image 1

There seems to have been some confusion over what platforms Puzzle Quest: Galactrix will be made available on. If life were simpler, you'd think they would have wanted it across all platforms, just like the treatment they gave to Puzzle Quest: Warlords. But apparently, it's not. And life is never simple.

A spokesperson for Infinite Interactive has clarified to Eurogamer that "Puzzle Quest: Galactrix will be available on PSN and Xbox Live in additional to PC and DS." Still no release date yet, so we'll keep you guys posted.

Here's hoping the Warlords "sequel" becomes successful enough - it is, after all, everything Puzzle Quest is (a Bejeweled clone, has RPG elements, story, side-missions, etc.), except now set in space and has a new Hexic-like grid. If Galactrix becomes successful, maybe they could be convinced to release it for other platforms as well.

What other platforms do you want it on? The only other places it could be would be the PSP or the wii, but it's on plenty of platforms already! And I'm pretty sure, you being a QJ writer, most likely own at least ONE of those platforms.

"The only other places it could be would be the PSP or the wii"

Wrong.

Other than the Wii and the PSP, they could also release it for the iPhone and iPod touch. They did so for Warlords.

And yes, me being a QJ writer, I do own at least one of the current gen platforms. Now what's wrong with me wanting this released on the other platforms so that OTHER PEOPLE IN THE WORLD who don't have a PS3, 360, DS, and PC, but DO have a Wii, PSP, iPhone or iPod Touch could also play the game?

Please. I'm not a brat who says, "Oh, it's going to be released for at least one of the platforms I own. Yay me. Hahaha. To hell with everyone else."

Only fanboys who are so fixed on getting exclusivity rights over something think like that.

A cookie for you, my friend.

You and the QJ staff should really kick the habit of getting in the gutter with everyone who *****es about your articles. There's gonna be a baby for everything you submit, so don't waste breath (text?) on defending yourself. It's like Nazi Zombie mode but against brats. It'll never end.

I'm assuming that it will be downloadable for PSP as well through the PSN, just like Warlords. And I wouldn't be surprised to see it released a bit later for Apple products.
