Ready for more Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords action?

This new title from D3Publisher combines RPG elements with strategy and classic puzzle gameplay. If that isn't enough to make it unique, it also has a persistent storyline. So it's really a bit of trouble trying to pigeonhole this game into just one genre.

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords also features an innovative gameplay, head-to-head gameplay mechanism, a continuous reward system, a customizable hero, and a chance to build your own empire. There are three gameplay modes: Single player, Instant Action, and Multiplayer.

This will hit the shelves come April and retails at EUR 39.99 for the DS (around US$ 52) and EUR 29.99 for the PSP (about US$ 39) Anyway, here's another sneak peak via screenshots at the Warlords Universe' Etheria and maybe you can pick out your favorite hero, too.
