Professor Layton and the Curious Village extended English trailer

There's no doubt that the Professor Layton series is among the biggest adventure games on the Nintendo DS, made by the creative minds which brought us Dark Cloud games and Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. After racking up sales in Japan, Level-5's Professor Layton and the Curious Village is indeed coming to the west. If you need solid evidence, here's a juicy trailer of the mystery title's North American version.

Dubbing this one as another collection of minigames is definitely an understatement. What you'll see below is filled with Curious Village's strangely appealing cutscenes and actual footage of various innovative puzzles players will have to beat to uncover the mysteries of the village.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village is set for release on February 4 in the U.S. For now, prepare that thinking cap, because you'll be solving a lot of brainteasers to crack the case!
