More details are beginning to emerge for Konami's latest installment to their Pro Evolution Soccer franchise, during their presence at the recently concluded Interactive & Digital Entertainment Festival (IDEF) in Cannes, France.The first juicy bit of news we'll be reporting is that Konami expects to have a playable version of PES 2008 available this August 22, at the town of Leipzig - we imagine they're talking about this year's GCDC event.
Also mentioned by Konami's that the game's Japanese version is expected to be identical to whatever game Europe will receive, citing that the reason that the game developer lacked resources to make different versions for the game's three major markets (Japan, North America, Europe).
Lastly, there's also the matter of the game's technical differences between its PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 incarnations. There aren't going to be any, according to the inquiry, although we'll just have to confirm this come the end of August. Stay tuned in case more details are released.

the last PES for Playstation 2? or do you think 2009 will see the light also on this console ? By the number of people still buying that console I'd probably say yeah but we never know what can happen in 1 year

pro evolution soccer is da best football game alive trust me am sure da new pro is brilliant. wha i would lie to see in pes is da master leage a would like this items to be included in da game da real club crest da master leage should be like there will be premiership, seria A, la liga, & all other teams. pes is no 1 no competition even other game company try copy pes game play but nooooo pes is no 1 a like da whole broad cast thin but it will be better if da particilar player appear on da screen well don guys. that wha am talkin about make it real naaa min that what up god bless pes.
