Ó
Ubisoft rolls with the punches once more. Following yesterday's announcement of a full lineup of pre-order freebies, they're now officially announcing via press release their intentions of bringing downloadable content for the game! (Heh. Looks like Ben Mattes jumped the gun on the press release the other day.)Details of what kind of DLC are yet to be revealed, and for now, we can assume it could be anything from alternate costumes (which is already known to be a redeem code that you get with a pre-order) to say, as Ben Mattes hinted the other day, "a new story, a new experience, maybe a prequel, maybe a sequel."
The press kit also comes with developer diary #4, outlining Elika's magic and the on-demand dialogue framework, among other things. Unfortunately, we're having trouble with the video, so we're still waiting on other bandwidth-friendly means. We'll post it as soon as it comes around.
While that's still on the queue, you can check out the newly redesigned official site for the game through the via link below. It's got a collection of media, most of which we've already seen before.
*Update* Ha! Found it!
Ubisoft's Prince of Persia for the the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and DS is set to sizzle this Christmas season with a retail release on December 2 in North America, December 4 in Europe, and December 5 in the UK.
