The DS Lite's battery life lasts between 15 and 19 hours on the lowest brightness setting. That's quite a good life span, but then, we don't normally play using the lowest brightness setting. Perhaps level 2 or 3 would suffice depending on the games we play and the condition of our eyes. So, taking those into consideration, normal battery life would be between 10 and 12 hours. That's still half a day's worth of button-mashing fun.

So, what happens when you're so close to finishing that difficult game and that dreaded red light starts to rear its ugly head on you? Well, of course, you do the normal thing and recharge your DS Lite. That or you recharge in style with the NDS Lite Recharge station.

This contraption is unique as it recharges your DS Lite while holding it in an upright position. It comes with a built-in LED indicator light so it's much easier to check if your handheld has been fully recharged.

The NDS Lite Recharge Station is available for $9.
