Finally, Nintendo of America has made an announcement on Pokemon HeartGold/ SoulSilver and it's good news. To be released in Japan next month, it is now Nintendo's pleasure to bring the word that these two games will finally be available to North America and Europe as well come Spring of 2010.

For their Western releases, both games will be featuring upgraded graphics, touch screen features, and "a host of surprises". Although the Pokewalker, featured in the Japanese version, was not mentioned explicitly, it would be safe to surmise that this is part of the surprises they were talking about.

We'll bring you more news and updates on this one as they roll. In the meantime, go and celebrate the upcoming arrival of Pokemon HeartGold/ SoulSilver to  Western shores.
