Pokemon Diamond and Pearl U.S. pre-orders surpass 533,000 |
Ó
Pre-orders for the games Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl in the U.S. have already surpassed 533,000. To give readers an idea of just how amazing figure is, it has already more than doubled the pre-sales of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. Since both games sold a total of 3.4 million units in the U.S., Nintendo is expecting the newest additions to the Pokemon series to sell more.
So far, Nintendo's prediction is coming true, with Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl ranking among the top selling video games on Amazon.com. Now, what's amazing is the fact that it's still four days before the game's launch date. So why is the game selling so well? Both iterations offer Poke-maniacs an additional 100 Pokemon, the ability to conduct wireless battles, and even voice chat with registered friends. Both games are slated to be released on April 22.

"Since both games sold a total of 3.4 million units in the U.S." Don't you mean Japan?
Sorry, reread the article and relised you were referring to FR/LG. Whoops.
