Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Screens

Nintendo has released a few more details on Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl as well as a bunch of new screenshots. The game will start out in Shinou City and you will be able to choose between a male and female trainer. Like in Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver, the game will use the Nintendo DS' system clock to regulate time. Special events will happen only at certain times of day and different Pokemon will evolve differently depending on the time.

The new Pokedex will look like a Nintendo DS and have touch screen features. You will also have a Pokemon Watch which gives you the time, acts as a calculator, and allows you to check on your Pokemon in the breeding centre. It may have more functions revealed later on. The new game will also feature visual differences between male and female Pokemon.

the quality of those images are kinda bad, there all really blurry theres no clarity like at all. The graphics look better than the gba versions though.

but anyway this game looks *****. i mean look at pokemon stadium they could of had something like that on the DS if it can be done on the Nintendo 64.

The main point of Pokemon, Neil, is the portability of it. You can save anywhere, it wouldnt be as fun if you were sitting at home playing. I can't wait for this version, I hope they put day/night cycles back in...

nvm i found out lol......well then there is no hope for it to be ported to a gba emu for the psp....too bad.......unlesssum1 makes a ds emu

Fully agreed. The gallery view is annoying at best, and doesn't work properly or at all at worst. Linking to the images directly is a much better solution. Building a better mousetrap has failed, my friends.
