Pokemon Black and White dated for North America |
Listed in: Nintendo DS Tags: pokemon black, pokemon white
Released in Japan last September, the newest pair of Pokémon games are finally hitting North America. Both Pokémon Black and Pokémon White carry a significant boost in graphics, cutscenes, various gameplay aesthetics, and pretty much the same plot. We now have the date, but there are other things you might want to know about as well.
For both games, you'll only run into new Pokémon during the main story. There are 150 of those, but it'll all start with one of these three - the Grass type Snivy, the Water type Oshawott, and the Fire type Tepig.

As you may have probably caught from the Japanese release, the two versions will have a few things unique to them. For Pokémon Black, you'll be visiting the busy metropolis of Black City and you'll want to catch the Reshiram. For White, you'll find your way into the lush White Forest, and you're gonna want to catch the Zekrom. In order to complete the Pokedex, you'll need to swap with players of the other version.
Pokémon Black and White will be hitting North America on March 6th.
