Playing games is top entertainment for Americans |

The 2009 Today's Gamers International Survey reveals a fact that has been pretty obvious for quite a while now: more and more US citizens consider playing video games as their primary past time. The survey showed that 83% of the US citizens polled play video games, with this activity being the main choice of entertainment over watching TV or surfing the Internet. And gender apparently doesn't matter, too. Reportedly, 80% of all American females that participated in the survey admitted to playing games, while 87% of the men do. That's a no-brainer right there.
Female gamers were found, however, to favor playing on PC, with 54% expressing their preference for it, while only 44% of the US men do. It was not identified, however, whether or not the games that the females play are actual video games, or if they counted those game applications on Facebook.
If gender doesn't matter, then age shouldn't too. It was also found that young American boys between the age of 8-12 years spend an average of a whopping 13 hours a week playing their video games.
Europeans, on the other hand, were found to play less, racking up only 72% of admitted gamers among the participants.

How do you afford to buy games, unless of course you pirate everything, which would explain a lot.

Oh, you mean you DON'T do that? The stereotype ISN'T true? Well American stereotypes aren't true either. Learn something before you try to speak next time.

They were hires extras, just to make bad impression, right? You know, I like my stereotype about vodka (that isn't true) better, than your stereotype about fatness and stupidity (that i've witnessed, fatness of course, but stupidity also at some degree). You can't argue with facts...

I'm also going to say that it is human psychology to remember the bad and forget the good, and exaggerate events as they grow older. You obviously ignored anyone who was of normal weight while you visited here, remembered only the few overweight people you saw, then blew it out of proportion in your memory. You can't argue with psychology...
Also, stereotyping is the epitome of both stupidity and lazyness, because it means you believe what you hear and are too lazy to find out for yourself whether or not it's true. One visit to the US is not enough to say you know all about everyone who lives here, sorry.

And besides, I've seen a lot of fat Polish too... and just for the record, my Polish friend and his family used to keep vodka in their freezer... guess it must be true huh? ;) lmao
