Petz Franchise Expanding

The Petz franchise started on the PC about a decade ago and has struck immense popularity among people who want their own virtual pet. Ubisoft has announced that they will be publishing many titles in the franchise for the GBA, DS, and PC. Not only that, but they'll be expanding from just Catz and Dogz to include more animals! The following titles have been announced:

Dogz (November 2006) - NDS and PC
Dogz Fashion (September 2006) - GBA
Catz (November 2006) - NDS and PC
Horsez (November 2006) - NDS and PC
Hamsterz Life (November 2006) - NDS and PC

Ubisoft obviously wants to get everything out in time for what should be a very profitable holiday season. After the success of Nintendogs, the bar for sales and quality is pretty high!

I remember playing the older ones when I was younger. I'm glad they're coming back again.
