The Opera web browser for the Nintendo DS and DS Lite will be released on July 24th in Japan. At first, it will only be sold online. The browser will come with a GBA cartridge that fits onto the bottom of the DS or DS Lite unit. It acts as a memory expansion unit. The retail price will be 3,800 Yen. Release dates for North America, Europe, and Australia have not be revealed. More details will be revealed on July 24th.

My God! This looks incredible. I absolutely can't wait. (Do you guys think it will have any problem running in the US? I honestly doubt it.)

this looks pretty damn cool.
It probably wouldn't have trouble running in the US, but Japan likely has some different keyboard stuff because the language is different. If I were you, I'd wait for the official release. And yes, the memory expansion will most likely be required. Even the PSP can't load many webpages and it has more memory than the DS.
I KNEW that there had to be some kind of memory expansion cart, but nobody believed me!

cool it will probaly come to the us in august or september, now all i need is the tv tuner and there will be no reason to buy my third psp,wiiii by thew way if you support wii pu this under any post you make anywhere

will this work with flashcarts such as M3/Supercard/etc? I want to try this while I wait for a release in North America which is when I will buy it.
