Opera Box Art - Image 1 Opera Box Art - Image 2

Yesterday we posted information on the price of Opera and the release date along with a few juicy screenshots, but today we bring you the box art of the Opera web browser. There will be two versions of the software released, each with an included GBA and NDS cartridge that is required for the web browser to fully function. They went so far to even make a NDS Lite-specific GBA cartridge that will be the same size as the filler cart that was shipped with the NDS Lites. This web browser will only be released in Japan this week and no other announcements have been made in terms of other region releases. The box art of the Opera browser reflects the system that it should be used on and just looks stunning. The NDS Lite version features an NDS Lite on the cover, looking all mighty and glory. The NDS "Phat" version will feature the original NDS on the cover, even making the original NDS look good!

Oh, I thought it was going to be released in Japan on June 24. But it looks like the release date is actually July 24. :(

Hopefully lik-sang.com will let us preorder it soon.

This looks very promising. I can't wait to preorder it. I really hope the RAM expansion is fast... They should really take advantage of this expansion with other games, too.

Does anyone know how much RAM this adds?

#6: That does raise a curious thought though. I wonder if children will be using this to look at naughty websites where their parents' can't see them. lol

I Hope This is Better Than the PSP Web Browser, Coz the PSP Web Browser Said It Can Let You Watch "FLASH' Videos BUT! I Can't, So.... In Hoping I Hope the "Opera NDS" web Browser can do so.... if not, they're the same *sigh*

# Supercard/M3Guest 2006-06-22 19:26
Yeah, I can't imagine it working with supercard for obvious reasons (both using GBA slot), but thats not to say that you can't just pull out your supercard and stick in Opera browser! It'd be like the old days when you had to switch cartirdges to change games.. heh

If you can find a wireless hotspot that you can access, it's free.

Most hotspots I ever find require payment. I might just end up getting the nintendo USB connector after all.
