Okamiden on Famitsu - Image 1

Heads up, Okami fans. It's sequel time for Clover Studio's critically-acclaimed PS2 original. Capcom has just made it official in the latest issue of Famitsu.

The sequel, called Okamiden (a play on "Okami" and "gaiden," maybe?), has been announced for the Nintendo DS. Nice choice, since the original Okami's gameplay seems tailor-made for the DS' touch controls. Even better than the Wii, in my opinion.

Not much is known about the game yet, but the screenshots do show that it'll be rocking the same watercolor-like style of the original. Okamiden will be out in Japan next year.

These graphics look horrible.

They should have made it for the PS3.

Atleast on a system that's not as weak as the DS. I hate when good games get pushed to horrible systems like the DS only because they know a lot of fools will buy it.
