OchaKen tramples on the DS |
Ó
First it was the kitten who said hello. Then came the lethargic panda that tumbled round to our amusement. Now, meet the new Japanese icon, Ocha Ken! Ocha Ken derived its name from its green-colored fur inspired from traditional Japanese green tea named Ocha. Ocha Ken is a marketing marvel that has already spun a comic and a series of cute anime shorts. Now, more popular than ever, Ocha Ken invades Nintendo DS with "Ocha Ken's Room" This game is an upgraded version of the popular Ocha Ken game in the GBA. You will play with Ocha Ken and his friends inside your house. You can train them, pet them, feed them, and play with them. With your stylus, you can direct the dog's direction as well as give him instructions. The visuals of Ocha Ken's Room is spiffingly cute. With bright pastels and cleanly shaped vectors, this takes the super flat design of Ocha Ken to life.
One thing quite interesting with Ocha Ken is you get to play a budding interior designer. You can go to town and start shopping for furnitures that Ocha Ken and his friends could play with. The game also has karaoke features which lets you sing your favorite Ocha Ken songs. More so you can also learn how to draw Ocha Ken with your pen. You can also play minigames with Ocha Ken. A game definitely to make you feel fuzzy, Ocha Ken will surely melt your heart like hot green tea. The game will be released on April 27.
