Nyko unveils Zoom Case for DSi |
Nyko revealed today its DSi-specific peripheral, the Nyko Zoom Case, which will allow owners of the handheld to capture clearer pictures while protecting their gadget from nicks and scratches.
The Zoom Case is a detachable optical zoom lens and hard shell case, offering up to 8x zoom capacity to significantly maximize the DSi's built-in camera. Easily stored when not in use, the Zoom Case also offers textured grip in its case to ensure a more comfortable hold for those extended gameplay sessions.
Said Chris Arbogast, Director of Marketing at Nyko Technologies,
Nyko strives to find ways we can improve upon today's latest gaming systems. That tradition continues in a product like the Zoom Case which improves upon one of the landmark features of the DSi, enabling gamers to take higher quality images, which is perfect for the growing suite of social networking capabilities available on the platform.
The Nyko Zoom Case will be sold on retail for US$ 24.99. No details yet as to when this product will come out, but we'll be sure to get back to you on that as soon as more info trickles in.

that thing looks sooo terrible and out of place lol
isnt this thing supposed to be portable? if i wanted a zoom feature with a camera id go buy a lets see....camera>.>
utter fail lol
That thing borders on obscene the way it sticks out like that.
Besides, zoom all you want, you still end up with crappy dpi.
It's like buying a shure pro brand microphone then running it through a 20 year old sound setup.
Beat city, Man.
hot chick, crappy product. The perfect combination.
Wouldn't it be easier to just get closer to whatever you're taking a picture of?
Well that depends on what your taking a picture of. some things you wouldnt want to get too close to (ex. a tiger that somehow managed to leave the zoo and go on a journey .. or a rapist that has been otl for 20 years .. yea i have dumb thoughts )
But then again, who would be taking pictures of something that would require them to zoom in?
This product fails ....
