the official DS headset - Image 1Whoever said that there is an external hard drive in development for the Wii? Definitely not Nintendo. This is what a Nintendo of Europe spokesperson has confirmed regarding the matter. That such reports were merely "pure rumour and speculation." So we guess that should be enough to stop those rumors from spreading around. Although we'd have to say that got our hopes up.

Nonetheless, what Nintendo did confirm was that there will be a new DS headset that will be able to fully support online voice chats. And it's perfect, actually, especially since Pokemon Diamond and Pearl will be having online voice chat among players. However, there still is no set date as to the release of this newest DS accessory, though it will most likely be launched along with the Pokemon titles for a price of US$ 14.99.

At least we know for sure it's coming. Let's just hope they don't axe it in the meantime.

this sucks ass

i wanted wii online to contend with xbunks live ,not barley matching the ps2's crappy online service. get ready 4 crappy online load times , and no map pack support.hell we'll be lucky if those sd cards will even allow patch updates. o no ninty what have u done, this very well may ruin wii chances to properly contend in the online market.ninty stop acting so conservative and do what needs to be done to insure wii will have a quality service, not just somthing illthought and slaped todether

that does not make sense

I've had a headset since forever; we don't need one. First of all, the ds has a microphone built into it, secondly, headsets for the ds have been on the market since brain age came out.
