In the previous version of Nintendogs, the Dalmatian dog was a rarity hidden away waiting to be unlocked by the most loving of caretakers. You had to play with Mr. Miyamoto's Dalmatian in order to take home a Dalmatian puppy.
All of the previous features are still there but most notable is the "Bark Mode" which allows players to share their adorable new Dalmatian with friends via Wi-Fi. Virtual owners search for other Nintendo DS’s running in the same mode and if another console is discovered, your DS will umn, ‘bark’ and both owners can let their pets play with each other.
Interacting with another puppy automatically unlocks that breed in another players version of Nintendogs.
The game was such a big hit in Europe that it was released there a bit earlier. Nintendogs: Dalmatian and Friends is set for US release on Oct 16, 2006. As Jerry "the King" Lawler on WWE would say: Just look at them puppies! Awww....
