to GamePro magazine, those cute cuddly Nintendogs aren't worth sh*t.
Nintendogs was voted the 'Worst Game of 2005' by GamePro readers via
mail-in form.This is a surprising blow to Nintendogs fans everywhere. GamePro commented in the magazine that Nintendogs "is one of those titles for gamers that falls into two camps - they either love it or hate it." It seems as if the haters were victorious this time, but proud Nintendog owners will have their revenge.
The list was followed by Tekken 5, the second worst game of 2005, and finally 50 Cent: Bulletproof, the third worst game of 2005.

The type of gamer who reads GamePro is likely to be the type of person who hates all games not designed directly for them. So things like The Sims and Barbie's Super Fun Day will be hated. It's not that Nintendogs is a bad game, it's a game not designed for a bunch of Playstation owning elitist gamers who hate anything that doesn't have guns and gore in it.
How was Tekken 5 the second worst, I thought it was the best tekken yet...or is it just me? Except for that stupid devil saga thing

I myself own NINTENDOGS and the game was great for a month but it got boring after awhile. But It wass still a great game that was developed. SO SCREW GAMEPRO AND THEIR LIES OF EVERYTHING, THEY ARE JUST NINTENDO HATERS!

if you like games that are ripoffs of popular selling titles then yes, it is the best thing since sliced cheeze.
I think sliced bread is more impressive than sliced cheeze.... i played nintendogs for a little bit, and i actually liked it, it did get boring for me after about 20 mins or so, but hey, im an action gamer, Capcom is one of my fav game companies.
i think gamepro should say something more like "if you like games like tomagotchi, then get nintendogs", cuz thats more along the lines of the people who like nintendogs. Its a simulation game where you take care of a little dog, dont expcet high octane action
Im sorry to say but i have to agree with the GamePro people, i hated Nintendogs. I saw no point in that game, it was boring playing it and i had no fun with it. Im happy i played the game at a EB Games and didnt buy it.
Nope.They cannot do this.They do not know how to rate a game.I know that,Nintendogs can get a bit,well hard at times but i can't let them do this.so no,they are all a bunch of people with a bad,bad,bad taste for gaming.
But they would think that the actual Nintendo DS/DS lite is trash(I am english..) to be replaced.....Now....Another thing is Anonymous Coward is a Total IDIOT By agreeing with this poor, poor, Idea.............
That is totally ludacris, gamepro is surly not a pro, they are just jealus becuase Nintendogs is the number one game ever, though it can be chalenging, and is almost impossible to earn a present from your Nintendog, but the game is sweetly satisfying, they should buck off and leeve the nintendog lovers to our tranquility.
What are you dudes thinking about, worse game in 2005? What about the fake ones? The ones that are full of dust? The new ones that sucks? Some of them suck more than Nintendogs. Nintendogs is like a new creation, well it's more real than Neopets right? I am not saying Neopets suck, I played Neopets before, it's okay, but Nintendogs, pet them, play with them, live with them. They rock.
Most of the people that don't have a NDS, or Nintendogs, don't like it, but they're just saying it to comfort themselves, but if they were allowed to buy, they will love them. And if you don't like it because you were just trying it out in a game store, well be sure of one thing, IT'S BECAUSE THE DOG ISN'T YOURS, IT'S FOR EVERYONE IN THE PUBLIC TO PLAY! Oh and probably because that Nintendog is new, so they don't have any cool stuff in it. I think it's good to rate games, because everyone like different things, will boys that like Ultraman play a Barbie game? And if the boys were to rate that game, they might make it worse game of the century, that's weird eh?
