I found tons of ar codes for it. like the shiny machop code, all shiny code, 493 master balls code. well heck, i caught a shiny without cheats it's a starly. when people cheat, it means they're ultimate newbsm (p.s. i looked at those cheats for my friend. he's a newb). I don't use any cheat codes to juice up my Pokemon or to get any Pokemon. I just train them and make them happy. My Kyogre, Link, is at level 100 due to dedication and hard work, not cheat codes. I'm glad that Nintendo is starting to crack down on cheaters and their cheated Pokemon and I support their decision to do so. What would Satoshi Tajiri think if he found out that we are using cheat codes to take advantage of his idea? He'd be very upset...

First of all, I'm not a guy. I'm a girl. And, Nintendo is not going to take away your games. They'll seperate the honest from the haxxors by only allowing honest players to play in their Wi-Fi Connection. The haxxors will still play locally, but not long distance. The reason is that Nintendo doesn't want anyone to have an unfair advantage over another. Nintendo and others video game companies have this policy on online games: play fair and to the end. Problem with Logistics

I know some people all over the world who are unable to even get certain pokemon, like arceus or shamyn, so what I do is use AR to get those pokemon and trade it to them for a weak common pokemon like bidoof or another common pokemon. So if nintendo starts banning me just because I'm helping someone else acquire some pokemon that they are unable to even see, then they are just going to ruin what both the true players and the hackers are sometimes trying to get, all the pokemon honestly. That's what I do, I provide a service, I am willing to help you acquire what you dont have for cheap. If they don't like that, tough, I just buy a Sony Playstation 3 or Microsoft XBox 360 and play on those for the rest of my life.

Doesn't matter

In PBR, you can set all your Pokemon levels to either 50 or 100 and go out and battle other people that did the same, so you don't have to hack your Pokemon to lvl100 or bust your arse anymore. Besides, most of the decent legendary Pokemon can be got fairly easily in-game, not to mention the fact that most tournaments outright ban the use of them (most all base 600 or higher, plus the dogs and birds) ... so ... if you hack yourself a lvl100 team of Legendaries then good on you; but I can make a team of lvl100s with almost every legendary in to time at all in-game AND I don't have to worry about your cheating messing up my tournaments. So I really don't get all the complaining ... my life isn't less complete than someone who paid $30 for an AR just to get a Deoxys or Jirachi. Those people see the game one way, and I see it another ... they don't get in my space, and I don't get in theirs. Well thats my POV. -Apt42

There's a limit

Before I start, I'd like to point out what an idiot this guy is. First, there are plenty of other hobbies out there that are considered extremely nerdy. Shut the hell up and stop criticizing people for their interests. Nintendo have been in business for over 100 years making various products. They won't go bust. People thought Sony would go bust because of the ridiculous price of the PS3. Have they died? No. Now... I support hacking to a degree. Living in Australia, we haven't got an event since the G/S/C days. So, I use cheats such as "Walk through walls" to get Event Pokemon. I also get 999 Master balls. Throw in infinite TMs. As long as hacked Pokemon mimic the real things, there is no problem IMO.

I play Pokémon, and I've had eight Level 100s in my time without cheating. I've had a couple of girlfriends in that time, and I've done that over about two years. It's not like I sit there for ten hours a day playing the danged thing! You have nothing to be euphoric about. An accomplishment is beating the game on your own. Anyone can cheat. If you know that you are a cheating piece of crap, don't complain to others about whining. Play right or don't play kiddo. Cheating devices are for solo play. Anyone who would use a cheating device in multiplayer is a douchebag, plain and simple. The "Shiny Cheat" cheat is the only real threat (or "threat") to the World Wifi Trade, as it has the possibility of flooding trades with shiny Pokemon, etc, etc. However, I don't see how the "Full Pokedex" cheat could be any threat, since it does not actually give the player the posession of rare pokemon, rather the oppurtunity to search for them on the Wifi.

As the AR and Gameshark users already purchased the game, Nintendo has little to use by regulating the use of Global Trade Services. While those that hack and find themselves could find themselves focusing on other styles of entertainment, it is unlikely that all users could band together and make a notable dent in Nintendo's profits. It is especially amusing how vocal the small minority of AR users that are worried about being banned are, as such a banishment only extends to the use of the Global Trade Station. Also, Nintendo will never make rooms for those who use cheating devices specifically, in no small part because they do not condone the use of such products.

when i got diamond, i already had an action replay. I beat the game without ANY help from the AR. Then i was bored so i played it over with AR. I really liked the game with AR. But some people are hypocrites. I was wifi battling a guy and on the mic he was cursing at me for using legendaries(palkia), while he had ALL shiny pokemon level 100 and some other stuff he probably didn't reveal to me. My suggestion is for people to play the game fairly. Its ur loss if u get bored by cheating one of the best games ever created.

Event Madness

I've bought an Action Replay Max for the GBA for the express purpose of filling the Pokédex. I didn't use the encounter codes, I used the warp codes and caught the legendaries via battling. If Nintendo don't want us to use an AR, allow us fans to get these legendaries some other way than these special events.

I plan on using AR for event pokemon, but I'm not going to go online with them since it isn't fair for me to battle someone with a lvl 100 Arceus topped with the best sweeper TMs out there. Basically, it's alright to cheat for some people as long as they don't introduce their cheats (fake pokemon) to WFC to trade. And, some people just don't have the time to work for 50+ hours to get their pokemon to ultra high levels, so I think Nintendo shouldn't ban the hackers, but only the hacked pokemon. Note: Don't flame me with "OMG U CH3473R!!!!" crap because when it comes to online play, I'm legit. But when it comes to solo play, I can and will cheat to keep myself interested in the game. Is anyone here? For people who have an AR, there is a way to beat the hacker block. If you know someone who has a pokemon d/p that has not been hacked, all you need to do is transfer your pokemon you want to transfer to PBR on to their game and use their game to put your pokemon on PBR. PBR looks at the game to see if there are any hacks on it. If your pokemon are on another game, it will just think the person who owns that game got it from a Wi-Fi trade. I am not completely sure about this but it sounds like a good idea

Ok first of all i have tons of non hacked lvl 100 pokemon and you know why i have a frickin long bus ride to school i do have a life other than pokemon and whoever says that you dont have a life just because you play a certain video game a lot seriously needs to look at thier own lives before they start flaming other people. i am also sick and tired about people saying that hacking your game is bad, because if some person is so desperate to win a match that they have to hack their pokemon to full stats in order to do it then they have a serious problem and should enjoy thier game a little more before they start hacking it apart! I have almost played every playable section of the game and if i would like to hack more gameplay into my pokemon diamond then who are you to say that is wrong? I am using the action replay to further enjoy my game! So how dare you all you flaming freaks who say action replays are bad because unless you are some pathetic control freak that has to hack his pokemon in order to feel good about himself in a battle then who wants to hack a totally rigged pokemon? If nintendo wants to ban these people then good riddance! Its only cheating when one person makes another suffer with an unfair advantage otherwise it is expanding your games parameters for enjoyment. when the powers is off for about an hour hold down L and R and select.make sure the power is still off.Now turn it on still holding the down the buttons.when it says not a liscensed nintendo product realease L and R but still hold down select not use the stylus and click on the star delete the code and let go of select then take out the ar and put in diamond or pearl your saved game before it got deleted should be there.

This thread convinced me to never play Nintendo wifi again...I freaking pre-ordered this game and since I don't cheat and don't play it constantly, I'm level freaking 30. Great to know the only way I can compete against anyone but my friends is to hack my game or play it 20 hours a day. If you don't have time to actually PLAY a game, don't buy it. There's plenty of non-RPG games that you can pick up and play casually and still beat it. I stopped cheating when I was ten on my PS because it took the fun out of everything.

Players who use the max stats code, well that's stupid of them because the point of the game is to raise your pokemon to increase their stats. I hack, but nothing that even affects Wi-Fi gameplay. most people who get the action replay have already beaten the game and are using it to get event pokemon that you cant get in the us. heck thats what im doing and all of my friends who play only use action replay if they have already beat the game and are bored of killing the elite four countless times.

My reason

The only reason I have for using an AR is to go through the game a bit faster by walking through walls and such cuz I'm a lazy ass, and for the National Pokedex so I can transfer my team from my Emerald that I worked so hard on and for so long. But I would never use stat or buff cheats like max attack, speed, def etc. or all shiny to make them look nice. I only use legit Pokemon that I actually CATCH, not use codes to get one such as Darkrai or Arceus. People who do that aren't just lazy, they're stupid and full of *****. There are 6 year old kids who don't use cheats and still kick ass, yet people still feel the need to cheat and hack to try to prove that they're better" than everyone else when the truth is that they suck so hard that they HAVE to cheat to be better. So I don't think the National 'Dex should be outlawed, but stats and coded Pokemon should be illegal. I realize that seeing 150 Pokemon isn't that hard, but I'm really lazy and even if I did feel like it I don't have the attention span to concentrate on something useless like that.

We do have facts! As you can see, I have great grammar. I get almost perfect grades in school. Hacking is just a past time for me. I started using the Action Replay AFTER beating the game, to see what will happen. I know a lot about technology, so this just adds on to my knowledge. People can learn from the hacking! action replaying is not cheating its really a hack to your ds lol. also i dont think it matters if someone cheats or not just as long as their stats arent like over the limit and they are possible to beat. yes i have action replay, but all my pokemon will be beatable so i think thats all that counts in the end. if someone uses the 999 cheat then that just pisses everyone off and nintendo should ban you but the cheaters who dont do that should be ok.

pretty much i just use the AR for exp gain. too lazy to level all my pokemon to 100. i did get some to level 100 myself and caught 426 pokemon without cheating then i just cheated the rest of the way cause im lazy. thats probably one reason why people cheat and its not like im one of those guys who are going to use pokemon with 1 hit KOs and 99 stats and such. my pokemon are just as strong as anyone else. just leveled up faster and such. is that so bad?

Yeah! I would understand. I live in Ohio, and I have only seen 1 event... the mew event at Toy's R Us. And someone stole the game that had the mew! I also had a celebi my friend got from a event and used the Emerald copy cheat to get more of to trade me one. I raised it from lvl 45 to 93, and it was stolen! I didn't want to put up with that hard work again... cause it takes up way too much time. I caught me another celebi and leveled it up to 100, (about half was rare candy) And I got me another mew. I worked on leveling it up too. (mostly rare candy) When they have events, they're always in New York, and I can't go to New York just for a Pokemon. I get it the fun way. Customize it how I want it, and then GO BATTLE THE Pokemon league. I also only know ONE other person who lives near me (still too far to use DS's) with an action replay. It's another way to get pokemon, when you don't have access to it. Just quit complaining!!!

My pokemon aren't over the limit. I used rare candies like Beheader205, and I used the money cheat to BUY a bunch of Proteins, Irons, Calciums, all that good stuff. I consider a pokemon who can't eat (drink... which ever it is) another one of those enhancers, MAXED OUT. I don't mess with those who are 999 of everything... that's just stupid. And it just looks weird too... As many people have stated, some of us simply can't go out to New York and get an event Pokemon. People like us will not: 1) Waste money just traveling to an event for just one pokemon 2) miss out on the right to recieve that certain event pokemon. If people are pissed they wasted said $150 by just going to an event, and didn't just go out and buy a $49.99 AR for the DS, that's their fault for being that damn dumb, and wanting to be, as they call it, "legitimite".

I don't get you all. Theres nothing wrong with cheating. The only thing that I think is bad is that you beat the game with AR thats all. I beat the Pokemon League by myself, completed the whole 490 PokeDex by myself, and beat one Master Contest by myself. The only thing I used an AR for was to get the Shiny Pokemon I wanted and to get the last 3 legendaries, because Nintendo is so unfair to make the events in places that some people can't go to. They think we have money to travel to another State just to go to their event. The only thing that I think is down right bad is just cheating on the whole game, those people just wasted 35 dollars on the game. I feel proud for the 3 things that I've accomplished, and its really a hard thing to accomplish. The only thing I cheated on was just Shiny Pokemon, that not all of mine are Shiny. I just capture the Pokemon that I find, and go online and find the Shiny that I'm looking and trade the ones that I got. And The 3 legendaries, that I didn't bother to get Shinys, I'm fine with them being normal.

That's not necessarily true. Sometimes, if you see a shiny, your first reaction is "I have to catch that!" before it runs away or you knock it out. May not be hacked after all.

Dude, when i first got on wifi there was a guy who had a lvl 32 latias...Its pretty Obvious he used a wild pokemon modifier, i know ive never hacked but i have posted about 10 videos showing how to get the darkrai, arceus...etc but since i live in uptown newyork i was pretty shocked that nintendo, actually wanted for you to pay agleast 25 to 65 dollars on a single pokemon? well actually its not a crime at all. on the DS Wi-Fi nintendo is not gonna ban you and on the Wii they wont ban you either. thing is online you cant use certaint pokemon which is all the event pokemon and i think deoxys, jirachi and mew. i tried deoxys and it doesnt work but if someone else can use deoxys tell me. jirachi and mew might work but still havent tried. but this is only online... offline you can use w/e you want and arceus does look pretty badass with hyper beam.

Hacking isnt bad at all. It just gives people an alternative, better way to play the game. Plus on every Pokemon trading forum you see a topic with someone asing for a hacked pokemon. And plus if I'm gonna battle someone I may hack a pokemon but it still will have legit stats and everything and will be just as strong as my opponent's "legit pokemon". There is no such thing as a "legit pokemon. All pokemon are created by a computer or some sort of computer device. There all just computer codes, so there is no difference between hacked pokemon and regular pokemon. P.S. Hacked pokemon cannot messs up your game. A hacking device can, but not a hacked pokemon you got in a trade

i got ar and only used it to fill me pokedex and get the 3 event pokemon (darkrai, shayman, and arceus) my parents would never allow me to pay $20 for some stupid geeky event for 1 pokemon. anyways i was going to use ar to help peeps that want a dialga and palkia over gts. im sure they dont want to buy another diamond/pearl game and another ds just for starters and legendarys like rayquaza and palkia. i doubt this whole ban people thing is even true. but they should ban hackers on mph as i battled a peep on there (when i didnt have ar) and the person was invincible to every i shot, including the weapon the imperialist.

I battled a hacker, and royaly wiped the floor with him useing a single, common, lower leved pokemon. He had a 100 Darkrai, all three starters, Rayquaza, and a Dragonite. All level 100. I took out his Monferno with an 82 Mewtwo, got through his Rayquaza, Dragonite, Empoleon, and Torterra while keeping my level 96 at full health. The only reason my 96 got taken out is because I thought Darkrai was part ghost. The reason, he rare candied them to level 100. I say let them play their retarted ass way. Most of 'em are to stupid to use the cheats effectively anyway.

I log on to wifi connection every day and I went on yesterday and sumbmit my hard workred for lv.100 cresselia first of all it was hard enough to catch then I trained it 50 hard lvsand then I put it on wifi and obviusly some cheater gave me a lv.3 palkia and when I got it the f****in thing crashed my game and I had to start a new game but then it kept freezing so I can't even play it.

Your story is true up to "it crashed my game..." AR changes the code of the game, so the game thinks it is legit. The only thing that ever messed up your game was Minningno. (and you probably don't even know what that is. Ahhhhh pokemon Red and Blue. simpler times.)

I only used my Action Replay to obain the event items-- not the Pokemon themselves. Then I caught the Pokemon on my own. I also beat the game on my own, and did not use my AR until after I completed it. I think that what players do with their games is entirely up to them, and Nintendo should respect this. If people use codes to beef up their Pokemon for online play, you don't have to battle them. Again, it's the choice of the players. The only reason that I used codes to obtain the Event Items is that in my opinion it's ludicrous to travel somewhere just to get something that isn't even real. I think that Nintendo should stop with the events. And they shouldn't ban people from Wi-Fi. They should just let the players make their own choices!!

I think that once you buy a game, it's your choice what you do with it and has nothing to do with Nintendo. If you decided to eat a game, for example, and it nearly killed you, would Nintendo care at all? NO!! I have an Action Replay and I used it to get the Event Items (Motel Pass, Oak's Letter, Azure Flute). I think it is ludicrous to have to drive miles and pay money in order to recieve something that actually doesn't exist! I also agree with whomever suggested that Nintendo should make something that finds you a fair match on Wi-Fi. So if you were a cheater you'd fight a cheater, and if you didn't use codes, you'd fight other people who don't use codes. Nintendo also really needs to get rid of those dumb events and just start making all the Legendaries available In-Game.

Cheating isn't all that bad. Personally, the only reason I use the occasional cheat code is to save myself hours of travel, trading between my games, and leveling once I've already beaten the game. The game is relatively straight forward, you battle, level, and win. If I feel like messing around and jacking all my pokemon to level 100 before the first gym for laughs, no big deal. The game gets boring at one point, and taking shortcuts to what I want to do in my own game is perfectly fine, if any of you hardcore cheat haters have a problem with it, you can kiss my ass. Concerning online play, if you get beat by someone that has hacked pokemon whoopdy flippin doo, it makes no difference. You want to play fair, fine, but it is a game, and I have no qualms about treating it as such and using codes. Stop whining over a bunch of zeros and ones.

Look I live in California and only 3 event pokemon have been given away, Ho-Oh,Lugia, and Mew. So how in the world are you supposed get all the other ones. I helped make this website, as many as 200 people daily are caught in obtaining, or in posession of a hacked pokemon. Possibly these people will get banned, as we said on the first page.We have not tried this on any pokemon games, thankfully one of our crew members tried it and in 2-4 weeks he was banned.So, coming to a conclusion, you can use action replay only if you are not eligible to use wifi, on the other hand we strongly reccomend you not using it.Thanks Pokemon creator!

Hi Just came across this and I wasa little shocked. Bout time Nintendo did something! I ordered mine from the USA and I have been playing since launch day and love it. I do alot of trading online too, and thats the real Pokemon for me. I will admit, I have 2 Hacked Pokemon that someone gave me because I was scammed :( Luckily they wernt anything special to me (just Drifloons). I have levelled up my Pokemon from scratch, and my highest so far is an 82 (God bless Emploeon). All i have left to say is! GO NINTENDO!
