Nintendo responds to NPD Group February sales results |
Ó
It's not surprising to hear from a former playing card company, especially when that company's consoles sold well last month. Since the NPD Group's February sales results are now in, Nintendo has released an official statement regarding the matter.Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing, had this to say:
Our momentum has not let up since the holidays and we expect it to continue throughout the year. We have the industry's strongest lineup of games for everyone from core to casual gamers.
Nintendo has every reason to be proud of its performance: the DS sold nearly 587,600 units last month, topping the sales hardware charts. The Wii took the Number 2 spot on the charts with around 432,000 units sold.

"We have the industry's strongest lineup of games for everyone from core to casual gamers."
Really? Care to mention some of them? To make a claim like that you have to give more than 3 titles. That's probably why she didn't.
then 3 title.
but through the eyes of an ignorant person like yourself mister common sense there is only three.
i will give you ANOTHER list of games here we go:
The best MOFO game ever
Super Smash Bros Brawl!!!,
Mario Galaxy,
Metroid prime 3,
Super paper mario,
Fire emblem radiant dawn,
Battilion wars,
Excite Truck,
Legend of Zelda Twilight princess, and a future release Mario kart wii those are ALL first party titles heres some Third party games ranging from awesome to okay:
Zack and wiki,
No more heroes,
Nights,
Dewys adventure,
Resident evil Chronicles, and thats about all i can think of at the top of my head.
seriously though the wii has been out a whole year behind the 360 why do compare them? Its really not fair the 360 had gears of war before the wii even came out!!!! and it had oblivion from the start!!!!!
Well, there you have it! Mr. Nonsense has been handed his own rear end on a platter once again!
So many games....no time to play them all :(
http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2007/06/17/console-exclusive-games-list-for-xbox-360-ps3-and-wii-as-of-june-2007.htm
This list is almost a year old, but it shows most of the upcoming and already released games exclusive to each system. While the Wii has the 2nd most exclusives, just look at them! Read some of the reviews and pray it will get better!
First off, as even you stated, that list is OLD!
Secondly, plenty of those games got excellent reviews. However, as reality tells you, reviews don't mean everything. Sales are the bottom line.
You can tell me a movie SUCKED all you want. That doesn't mean I DIDN'T ENJOY IT MYSELF.
I'm still having a blast playing some of those games.
Have you figured it out yet?
You seem to be forgeting one thing mister sense........THE 360 HAS BEEN OUT AN ENTIRE YEAR BEFORE THE Wii OR PS3!!!!!!!!!!! Has that even crossed your mind? and by the way i never play my 360 and i have most of the best game on it (Oblivion Halo3 etc) Ive been plaiying my wii non stop and now im playing Brawl and thats all ive been doing...... the wii is SO much more fun than the Xbox
