Nintendo Giving Out Tingle Surveys |

Over at the Nintendo site, there's a new survey asking gamers what they think about Tingle. For those who don't know Tingle, he's a recurring character in the Legend of Zelda series. But he's no longer just a Zelda character when Nintendo decided to create a Tingle RPG called Mogitate Tingle Bara Iro Rupee Land. In the game, you take on the role of Tingle when he was 35 years old and had yet to take on the Tingle form. The object of the game is to collect rupees and chuck them into a magical spring, which will then transport you to Rupee Land where you turn into Tingle. You'll be guided by Rupeeji (aka Old Man Rupee) and and a fairy called Pingle.
Tingle is not a very popular character and some gamers even find him annoying, which are probably the reasons why Nintendo put up the survey in the first place. The game is currently only Japan-bound, so perhaps this survey will help Nintendo decide if Tingle should also be released in North America. Well, with the survey, Nintendo has placed the fate of Tingle RPG in the hands of the players. We just have to wait and see.

I really hope this game comes out. My answers to the above questions were all about average but I'd definately like to play this game.
I hope people vote him down. He's a freaky fairy that looks like he has a bladder problem! And he was utterly annoying in-game :(
The real objectve of the game is to defend against skinhead attacks because of Tingle's sexual orientation. It will also combine a gay dating sim where Tingle has to find a man lover and find a state where gay marriage is legalized. For some reason, manly men aren't popular videogame characters in Japanese games. That's why many male characters in Final Fantasy games have almost female looking faces.
I hate tingle. I want to stab him in the face.
First off, if you don't like the character, don't buy the game. Second, any of you who don't like the character and answer the survey are quite honestly just ruining it for people who would love to see his character fleshed out a bit. I'd love to see the backstory. I want to know what got him to be so annoying and obsessed with becoming a fairy. His character is meant to be a little obnoxious, and now they're helping explain where it comes from. If you don't like him, please don't purposely go and throw off the survey results. It just means the people who would actually buy the game and play it won't be able to. And #4, you should probably see a therapist about your immediate reaction to hating someone/something being to stab it in the face.

I always saw tingle as a novelty, someone to help you on your way, i mean its like letting a character like the happy mask salesman or Malon getting their own game. Maybe I just cant see him in the spotlight, other then the fact that he overcharges for everything :p.
