Nintendo DSiWare - Image 1If you're hoping to transfer your DSiWare purchases to additional DSi machines, we're sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you can't. Nintendo has revealed via Eurogamer that this just isn't possible as your Nintendo DS wares - games or applications - are exclusive only for the type of system they were brought on.

The clarification was made as Nintendo prepares to launch three new DSi colors for Europe next month. The three new colors will also carry pre-installed Facebook and Flipnote Studio apps.

But what about if your handheld breaks down? You can send it in for repair and they'll be the ones to transfer your DSiWare downloads. Yeah, they're really strict about this one.

» maybeeee

play from SD card but not be able to copy to a system other than the one it was purchased from? that way you could let someone borrow a game or let them try it for a bit?

» They couldn't make it any easier on ppl??

like wh@ SONY allows ppl to do. You download games to your PS3/PSP via PSN account and a friend can use ur acc on his PS3/PSP and download those same games for himself w/o buying because you already bought it and it was stored in your d-load history.

But seriously man, Nintendo couldn't just be fine wit dat?????????
