Ninja Gaiden DS - Image 1Tecmo just announced that Team Ninja's Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword for the Nintendo DS won't be coming until March 2008. The video game title, which development is being led by Tomonobu Itagaki who we all love, previously had a winter 2007 release window.

Then again, how can we complain when Ryu Hayabusa's iteration to Nintendo's handheld is looking better every time we see it? If the delay means Team Ninja will be tweaking the Stylus-controlled action game to perfection and manage to deliver an authentic Ninja Gaiden experience on the platform, we can wait.

Coming from a series that debuted on the original Xbox with topnotch visuals before moving to next-gen consoles, Ninja Gaiden DS promises to push the handheld to its limit and introduce players to an effective control scheme unique to the series.

» um...

I hope for DS fans sake it isn't hard, cause if it is i doubt many will like it. Remember how Fans didn't like DMC3 cause of its difficulty, i see the same thing with Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

Hey is there any gameplay videos of this.

» I hope it's not easy.

Well Contra 4 is hard as hell, but everybody likes that game. I think only the wusses didn't like DMC, not the fans...
