Nintendo has released a new trailer for the upcoming Pokémon remakes, Heart Gold and Soul Silver. It's pretty cool seeing your main Pokémon, which follows you around on screen, break rocks and stuff in the game world. Check it out below.

We've already seen the pedometer that'll come with copies of the two games, but there are more goodies for the die-hard Pokéfans out there. Kotaku reports that those who pre-order Heart Gold will get and exclusive Ho-Oh figure while those who opt for Soul Silver will get a Lugia figure. Pre-ordering both games will also net you an Arceus figure (that's the one in the middle).

» Don't have a DS, but..

If I had one, I would get these games in a heartbeat. I had Pokemon Silver and Crystal until I traded in all of my gameboy stuff at gamestop. At least I can play them on emualtors on my PSP.

There is however a fan made remake of Crystal for Gameboy Advance emulators. It is called Pokemon Liquid Crystal. Google It (you find it on pokecommunity.com)

» Fire Red/Leaf Green

They did include the 3rd gen pkemon (Hoenn region) in Fire Red/Leaf Green, so they will do it with Heart/Soul. It just adds variety and it will let Diamond/Pearl recieve 2nd gen (Johto) Pokemon via trading.
