New Pikmin game revealed in Edge magazine ad? |

The two Pikmin games from the GameCube have since been re-released on the Wii as part of Nintendo's New Play Control! series, but these two are apparently not what Miyamoto was talking about.
Now here comes Edge Magazine with a full-page ad for their 203rd issue. The ad itself is just a shot of a patch of grass, but some eagle-eyed observers have noted that in the top-right hand corner, there's a little purple blob that resembles a Pikmin. Here are some scans from GoNintendo:
This is all just speculation of course. A lot of fans have been clamoring for another entry in the Pikmin series, so if this turns out to be correct then Nintendo's E3 appearance will be one to look out for. Also, remember when Reggie Fils-Aime said that Nintendo will do much better at this year's E3? A Pikmin 3 announcement would be considered "much better", I think.
